Sopranos Pizzeria Ristorante reviews
53We got the porcini and mushroom ravioli and a prosciutto with rocket pizza for take away, it was absolutely amazing. I'm going back for sure
We visited this restaurant for the first time the other night and was extremely happy with the food and service. Booking was made simply by email and requests were catered for as requested. Pizza we ordered was amazing and had just the right amount of toppings on and was woodfired perfectly. We didn't have time to stay to try dessert but that menu also looked great!
You expect to have fine dinning Italian food cook or run by Italian right? Or at least decent food. But not in this restaurant. When we first walk-in, Indian is running the place. We thought, ok, they might be the waiters. So we sat n ordered food. Guess what, pasta n pizza are not even tasty. We decided not to have any dessert n as we left, we have a look at the open kitchen. Inside are all Indian n Asian cooking foods. Right, an Italian restaurant run by Indian? Make your own decision.
It’s a nice place on Mill Point Road opposite to the Perth Zoo. Food was good, we requested for additional requests on Pasta which they obliged. Place looks old, atmosphere is calm. Try some cocktails, they are really good.

Lovely vibes, we had a huge group last minute and the managed was very accommodating! The waitress Amille was lovely and helpful and did a great job helping our large group.
The food was delicious! Pizzas and the pastas! We had the gnocchi and veal ravioli (sooooo good) and several pizzas. Everyone was happy with their meals.
Not only was the food excellent with a great range and served promptly.the customer service was exemplary. Staff truely went above and beyond to look after our group including international guests and restless children. We were relocated, at our request, to an area where the kids could enjoy dinner and not potentially annoy any other customers. As a parent juggling commitments to special guests as well as keeping kids out at night, I was so grateful for the patience and kindness and outstanding customer service. It meant we all had a wonderful dinner, enjoying the city lights and beautiful nightscape of South Perth on a mild winter's night. Sopranos staff, you made it a wonderful dining experience, thanks so very much!
Food was ok. Atmosphere was sadly lacking. Old tables taped with white tape and paper on top to cover it. Outdoor areas with upturned tables, stacks of old chairs, dead plants, dirty windows, generally used as dumping ground.
Very friendly staff and manager,
We had the pizzas and they were superb.
Highly recommend this place!
This is a great place to dine. Homely with top quality tasty food. Pizza is amazing. Good local haunt. Highly recommend
This restaurant has moved to a new level. Excellent food, staff and service. Eaten there twice this week and will return and recommend.
Visited New Years Eve, staff were so accommodating and I have to say the best pasta I have ever had. So friendly too. Would recommend 100 per cent
The food isn't bad, but the menu doesn't seem to have been updated in the last 20 years, which incidentally is also about the last time the building saw any maintenance.
From the children wailing with all their might, to the natural tang of the pizza sauce, I can’t make my mind up about this restaurant.
The pizza I had was perfectly cooked, and lasagna that my friends had looked as though it could feed a whole village of starving peasants. The food was slightly offset by the 3 children screaming 10 metres away from our table. They would shatter the eardrum of even the most stoic of opera listeners. I almost asked for their autograph as I could only assume they had schooled in Italy to master the arts of vibrato.
Once I had stoped quivering from the feral unannounced screams, I wanted to taste the tiramisu. Unfortunately, after taking our order and waiting 15 minutes to be served the delicious goods we were told there was none left…. At least we got to catch up with our weekly gossips whilst waiting to be let down.
P. S we were *told* to order the tiramisu, only to be told there isn’t any. I feel as though this was some awful game they were playing with us in order to damage our psyche.
Food was good though, so can’t complain.
Not a good dining experience
After returning my seafood ravioli because the filling was cold inside the pasta it was then returned to me so hot and soggy I couldn’t eat it for 10 mins (and didn’t)
The other diners on my table also found their food was tasteless
Was offered to take 1 beer of the bill
We won’t be back
We came in as a party of 7 at 8: 45pm on a Wednesday for some late night pizzas. Not only were all the staff helpful, the pizzas were fantastic! The dough it's self was delicious and all the toppings tasted great.
We were happy to just get takeaway but they made a table for us and we had an amazing experience. Thank you!
Live near the area. Thought would give it a go. Place seemed nice but our table was sticky and Aircon doesn’t even do anything. Moreover, we found cockroaches near our table. Guess it’s because of the heat but there shouldn’t be any excuses for a restaurant.
Moving on to food, found my pasta undercooked while my partners pasta was fine. However, theArancini we had was delightful. Cost us about $90 (1 side, 2 mains and 2 cocktails) but, not really felt it was worth it for that experience.
Lovely authentic Italian restaurant, Food was simple but very rich in flavour and worth the value, definitely we'll be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the great service. Special mention to the chef, who went out of his way to create 2 vegan meals for us. He gave each meal its own little twist which was very creative. A wonderful experience overall and will definitely go back!
Entree of creamy prawns was tasty but definitely not creamy. Serving was a small bowl for $26 more expensive than many other places.staff very polite and attentive but upset when I commented my prawns not creamy, as II had not complained when asked early on “is my meal ok “.
This place is great, lovely staff and beautiful food and wine selection, I recommend it to all my friends however I visited this restaurant with my friend tonight and realised that there is no bathroom accessible for someone with a disability… walking 2 flights of stairs is just concerning to me as my friend was having to wait to use a bathroom at home or another venue after dinner because she was not able to walk up the stairs and is restricted to a wheelchair.
I love this restaurant so I hate to be a negative Nancy but I’m worried that other people will come there not realising and have the same problem and make the person very uncomfortable that they can’t use the bathroom when I’m sure that this should be mandatory to have on the premises especially being a family restaurant
If I’m wrong please correct me and I will remove my review no problem at all:) I’m unsure of the rules around this but would like some clarification
Would like to say the staff were very accommodating in every other way for my friend and moving tables for us to make it easier to sit close to the door.
