Social Manna reviews
35Always a great place for breakfast/brunch. Love the diversity of the staff and clientele. The food is always delicious and the coffee on point.
This little gem is one of my favourite breakfast/brunch/lunch spots. The staff are friendly and fun, the food is delicious and the decor is very welcoming.
My partner and I have been coming to this lovely cafe since it opened. I used to be a chef for 10 years, so believe me the food here is gorgeous! Although, I do miss the old arancini with the saffron poached pears haha. The service here is tremendous also, very friendly and welcoming, you will be looked after. Thank you Social Manna!
A nice cafe located in the centre of the Victoria Park. Interestingly, the seats are surrounded by the various kind of tea spoons which decorated on the walls. We had a good brunch with the great service. Highly recommend this place for families and friends.
Probably the best breakfast I have had in a long time. I got the chili ox scrambled eggs. So many flavour, just the right amount of chilli and fabulous texture with the fried onion. Such a find!
I really like here the atmosphere and coffee. I didn’t enjoy the s’mores personally but the other food I saw looks yummy and I look forward to trying. But Other than that was great! Will go back to try another food soon.
Food was lovely, coffee lovely. My only gripe was that 1 hour before closing they started mopping and putting chairs on tables. They padlocked the outdoor tables up to the windows and there was still 45 minutes to go until closing time.making our nice window table dark with no view. Really did spoil the end of our lunch. To turn customers away who wanted coffee 40 minutes before closing was not great. If I owned this business I wouldn't be happy.
I had the Gingerbread latte, Bacon Xo Chilli Scram + Potato Hash and my partner had the Breakfast Chimichanga + Sausage, Egg and Potato Hash. Everything was cooked so well and we really enjoyed the balance of each of the components. ️ My friends also ordered their Turkish eggs and the Bacon Egg Sanga (gf). They enjoyed it:) however my Gluten Free friend wished they had more gf varieties.
The decoration is certainly quirky and fun and has inspired me to start my own cheeky teaspoon collection! They also have some funny books on each table to read as a conversation starter. Perhaps a good place for first casual date.
My partner was hoping to try their philly cheesesteak but it seems they've removed it from the menu. Regardless, our meal was great. Hope I'll be back again next time I visit Perth.
Lovely setting, friendly staff and quick service. I had the oats arancini and this was so delicious, even better than I expected. They also have a great drinks menu with seasonal specials. Can’t wait to come back and work my way through the menu!
Food was ok. Had a nice iced latte. Friendly staff and a nice place to sit and watch the busy traffic going through Vic Park. Was quite busy when we went but the service was quite fast considering how many people were there waiting
Congratulations to Sandro and the team at Social Manna! The food is out of this world, team are super friendly, service was stunning. 5 stars doesn’t say enough.
I can’t wait to come back and make my way through the menu.
Spectacular in every way.
I had a muffin and coffee. Muffin was 5 stars quality.the long black coffee was very sour so I reported this to barista who decided the 2 shots was too strong for me and gave me a replacement with one shot. One shot was weak and hardly tasted.
(a) 2 shots is not too strong. I had 3 shots in Albany the week before and the coffee was great.
(b) Strong coffee does not necessarily equal sour coffee. Sour coffee is bad coffee. I had a excellent strong coffee in Gidgegannup only a few days ago. A customer at an adjoining table even commented how strong it looked!
I can never decide between sweet & savoury but I made the PERFECT choice with this Porridge Arancini. Seriously one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever tasted. Rhubarb & Custard is a childhood favourite of mine, & combined with the crispy arancini balls, it truly was a taste sensation!
My husband and I arrived late afternoon and were kindly informed the kitchen was only open for another 3 minutes. We didn’t feel rushed to place our order & all the staff were extremely kind, friendly & accomodating.
When the food came out, we were presented with such beauty & attention to detail. Clearly the chef feels a calling to this and it’s not just a job to them - it definitely showed!
We will be back
Fast becoming my new favourite cafe in the Vic Park/South Perth area. Do yourself a favour and try the arincini oat balls at least once. Only downside is that it can be quite busy on Saturdays and you might not be able to find a table.
Coffee is perfection, food is gorgeous, staff are delightful, atmosphere is cosy + colourful. Instant favourite! You can tell the owners have a lot of pride and work incredibly hard to run this place.
Ordered the Reuben sandwich and it contained hardly any beef I mean a sliver. There was 95% cabbage.
Quality standards are important and this restaurant simply doesn’t care. I am an active reviewer and have a large mix of 5 star through to 1 star. I often also include photographs.
Often I find restaurants choose to belittle the poster when providing constructive feedback to others. This represents how they actually think and care about service standards - go figure. You have a choice where you spend your hard earned money and this shouldn’t be the place especially in light of their response.
AVOID.
The first time visiting this vintage and amazing cafe. I fall in love with the decorations and of course FOOD … grilled steak WOW WOW.flat white and cold brew is perfectly tasty. I gonna come back in the future… Thank you for a delicious meal.
Really lovely atmosphere, amazingly friendly and welcoming staff, as well as crazy delicious, wholesome food at a very reasonable price!
Not a bad word to say about this place. Staff and service is always on point. Food is out of this world excellent, so much flavour. Best breakky in town! Sandro an team do the most excellent job!
Great place for a morning coffee and cake. The service is really friendly and there's a cosy neighbourhood atmosphere. There's lots of small tables inside and outside undercover. It would be a lovely place to have an outdoor breakfast, there's lots of plants outside. Inside there's an eclectic vibe with the the walls decorated with vintage spoon collections and art works.
They offer a wide range of cooked breakfasts and also cabinet foods along with cakes and muffins. I didn't get a chance to have a cooked breakfast this time but would come back to try out some dishes.
I got a regular sized takeaway long black with a chocolate and caramel little cake that came in a very cute tiny cardboard loaf container. The cake was delicious, great texture and very moist, there is some syrup drizzled onto the cake to keep it tasting fresh and the frosting was pretty with caramel, choc crispies and pecans. Both together were $9.80
I would recommend this place for a relaxed breakfast date!
