Some excellent service over 30 years, particularly from Darren Freeman and support staff, but they are not an independent provider of financial advice which has led to some COIs and suboptimal outcomes.

My husband and I have been going to Smith Coffey for over a decade, since my husband graduated medical school.

We see Stephen Jones for financial advice and he has given us some excellent advice over the years. He’s advised us on many things we would never have thought of, saving us thousands of dollars and helping us get set up financially.

We got to Darren Freeman for our annual tax returns, and when my husband became a GP, Darren started managing his BAS statements for us as well. Darren is friendly, very organised and professional, and a pleasure to deal with.

Smith Coffey also organized both our home loans, our most recent car loan, and various other loans for us. Through their close relationship with Westpac (Westpac staff on site) they were able to get us some very competitive deals that we wouldn’t have been able to get elsewhere.
