Smash Grill reviews
25 On the pricy side but yum
For 3 burger, a large fries, 2 soft drinks and 1 sauce we paid $60.
That's definitely on the top end of town.
Burger were alright, but not outstanding.
The fact that in a burger joint I have to pay $1 for a small sauce when the chips are $10 is sad.
Staff was friendly.
Considering it was only 11.30 am I was surprised that some tables weren't wiped down.
The best hamburger I have had in years. Fresh ingredients, made with love and care and well priced. A huge plus: it wasn't soggy or messy at all. Get amongst it, folks!
Don’t bother going anywhere else for burgers in Freo! Amazing vegetarian burger and the chicken burger was fireeee!
Worst hot dog ever, seen better at a truck stop for harf the price, even the dog would not eat it!
Drove from huntingdale Fremantle to see the internet listing is not correct. Said it was open for lunch but didn't open till 5pm.so we had home run burgers as there business opening hours were true and it was open.
Food was fresh & cooked well and service was fast. However the burgers were a little smaller than expected for the price. A smash burger was around the same size as a big mac or a little smaller than a whopper
The burger was delicious - Had a cheeseburger. It says that the buns are potato buns (I’m not sure if that an add-on) but the burger was overall great. The joint is a little overpriced (in my view), as the burger was $12+. Got French Fries with the burger, which was another $3-$4 - in my view: the price does not justify the purchase, but I tend to always have fries with my burger.
If Wendy’s and/or 5 Guys open up in the state, there will be tough competition because both these franchises will up the burger game in the city, state and country. I understand these franchises are present in the East Coast. They are needed in WA, to up the game.
AWESOME! Super delicious, fresh, amazing burger. Fantastic, responsive customer service, great communication/problem solving. I was very impressed and will be back for sure. I didn't try anything else on the menu, but will do so next time. The big burger chain burgers don't taste this good, these are the best I've tried anytime recently. Very happy and thank you very much for looking after me. I'll remember to ask for grilled onions next time. Thanks again.
Solid smash burger. Rather limited menu, but seems like a good burger joint in the heart of FOMO.
Been here a few times, hands down one of the best smash burgers you can find in Perth-Mandurah region. The fried chicken and fries are also outstanding.
Best burgers we've had!
We had the smashburger, cheeseburger, fries and popcorn chicken. Everything was so so delicious
The buns were so soft and we loved the addition of caramelised onions. The popcorn chicken was juicy and crunchy, perfect with that delicious burger sauce.
The staff there are very nice and welcoming. The owner is from America so you can be certain you'll get the best
We will definitely make the trip to Freo for these burgers. Keep up the good work guys
Tasty burgers! Both chicken and beef burgers we had were really good. Fries were great too.
Smash Grill is a great little burger place in Fremantle. The double cheeseburger was tasty and the chips were also good. Service was quick and the staff were nice. I went before the move so I can't comment on the new location. Hopefully there will be more designated seating for patrons of Smash Grill.
Welcome back, Smash Grill! Enjoyed my burger and chips from you today, but I have one suggestion: If you're going to put onions on a burger, they should be sizeable rings of onion. The dental-floss sized onion slices were a bit weird and messy to eat, I removed them. Despite that, I'm sure I'll be back.
Tried Smash Grill for the first time and was really impressed!
I had a Smashmelt double and the beef patties were perfect - great texture yet soft and juicy, while achieving the right char on the outside.
They don't skimp on ingredient quality either.
The buns were tasty and fluffy (a hit with the other reviewers here) though I personally prefer them a little bit firmer.
Go the double patties folks! It's so good, one won't be enough!
Ordered spicy chicken sandwich for breakfast, located at the Fremantle market. The chicken was so succulent and juicy, not one dry meat bite. I devoured it within a few bites! So good and would buy it again!
Awesome burgers, love the buns and the home made patties, a real winner.
Very good selection and made from all fresh ingediants.
Best burgers in Perth!
Very tasty burgers, I like the portabello mushroom burger. The most I like is the bun, it's soft and delicious. Must try!
We tried the spicy chicken burger and the smash grill beef - both DELICIOUS! Yum chips too and lovely service. Will definitely be back:)
Such tasty burgers, I was nervous about getting the Porto burger as mushroom is hard to cook and not make the burger soggy. Glad I got it IT WAS AMAZING and was cooked perfectly. Just wished I lived closer so I could go there more often!
