I had a new split system installed along with ducting and an inverter and was really impressed with the quality of work. The guys were right on time and did a great job at a very fair price. I am really happy with the outcome and everything was communicated by text and email with live tracking so I couldn't ask for more. Thanks again for your amazing work!

Brilliant electricians - prompt service - came when they said they would - would not contact anyone else - Magic I have air con - I can survive - very polite young men too - always makes a difference is people coming into to my home and friendly.

On time and when the doorbell was faulty (the doorbell itself and NOT the installation) they came back to repair quickly, and then when there were further issues they replaced quickly, no fuss and on time.

I spent $4,500 on them and I am gutted!

I'm not one that takes pleasure in giving bad reviews to hard-working businesses. But I had to take time do this one up so people are aware.

I have no complains about the electrical works (all seems to be working fine and fingers crossed it stayed that way).

But I am very disappointed with the finishing quality! That's the summary of it.

I got them to do lots of jobs including installing LED downlights, exhaust fan, installing powerpoints, changing electrical board, etc.

They sent a team of 4: 1 senior sparky along with 3 apprentices (I think).

Look, I have nothing against apprentices because everyone has to start somewhere. But their training shouldn't be at the expense of homeowner. And the manager on the job should adequately supervise their quality of work.

To their credit, they showed up in time and completed the job in 1 day. And perhaps this lies in the problem that they tried to squeeze everything in 1 day that they rushed and didn't do a good job in the finishing touch.

My issues are:
1. Their patching on the chased walls are very rough (even after the second team came in on another day). It is not what I was promised during the quoting process that what I had to do is simply light sanding and repainting.

2. They were rough and leaving dents on the walls.

3. Many unnecessary chipped paints in my opinion

4. They leave dirty marks on manhole

What gutted me the most is that I had to do touch-up for all these unnecessary dents and imperfections. And you know that touch-up will never perfectly blend in with the existing paint (even if you have exactly the same paint colour), unless you paint the whole wall!

I gave 2 star (instead of 1) because the supervisor willingly agreed to send another team to patch up the holes and fix the damages. But again to my previous point, it would have been nice if no damage was done at the first place. Because with patching, the paint will never perfectly blend in!

I would recommend people to just go with your trusted local sparky (individual or a small team), not these big companies. Your local sparky's rate is as competitive (if not cheaper) and because they are running their own business, they are really careful with their work because they want to manage their reputation.

Very prompt and professional service who dealt with a leak in the bathroom of my elderly mum. I was concerned.about the risk of water on.her floor and they responded within. 20 min of my.call.

Melted mains switch on Sunday night, fixed (new up-to-code board) by Monday.

Keeps up to date where the techs were by sms. Work done quickly and efficiently. Not the first time I’ve used them, and not the last.

I had my two 20 year old split systems replaced by Sean, Justin & their team. Grant was my initial contact who was very knowledgeable & helpful. The team were professional, friendly, on time & ensured my systems were exactly what was required for my unit. My power board was also upgraded for continued safety. Eddie and Bailey did a great job today. They arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They fitted two ceiling fans for me and cleaned up after themselves. Thanks for the friendly service.

If you want someone to provide excellent service I would recommend use them again.
I had someone call me and arranged someone to call out and quote within a day or two.
The quote was immediately after inspection and they also booked me in relatively quickly.
On the installation day everything went smoothly and on time.
I would recommend them.

Following my review this morning I've had a discussion with Kane. I think his professionalism is outstanding, it's impressive he attends to this on a holiday. I feel much more confident in dealing with this company now.

Very honest, very friendly, very affordable experience. Will definitely be using them in the future. They were the most affordable and the only people who actually prioritised My request to get someone out.

We needed to have some outdated external downlights replaced and an exhaust fan installed. Bailey and his offsider (apologies for not remembering his name), turned up exactly when they said they would. They completed the job in a quick and professional manner.

The guys were thorough, efficient and fixed the problem very quickly. Both were very polite and professional and I will be getting them back for further work in the new year.

I renovated the kitchen in my home and Smartfix installed the new oven and convection oven, new hob and extraction fan. They also installed some new light fittings and upgraded the metrebox.
They were on time every day and finished in the time frame they quoted. So professional, polite and respectful and careful. Their can do Attitude to what I wanted to achieve was above and beyond my expectations.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Could not fault Smartfix Electrical. The whole process was seamless and the technicians were extremely professional. Will not hesitate to use them again.

Appointment made promptly. Arrival was timely. Diagnosis made and job carried out. Advice given on how to adjust settings. When system seemed still to not be working, follow up was prompt and thorough and all was put to rights. Very happy with their service.
