Six Senses

My friend took me to this place as it’s her local favourite. I was blown away by how incredible the food was. Probably one of the best Thai places I have ever been to in my life. The coconut rice could have been eaten on its own it was so tasty. We also had the stir fried Cashew Nut and The Spicy Chill Basil both with Tofu and Veg. I was surprised by the review ratings as I have only great things to say about the food and staff. I wish I was staying longer so I could experience more on the menu. Unreal.

The soft shell crab and papaya salad is particularly good. It has a sweet and sour taste. It is similar to what I had in Thailand before. It is an authentic Thai food. The soft shell crab cake is crispy and greatThe tofu rice is also very good. The service is enthusiastic and timely

I’ve been eating here for years and it is always excellent. Food is really tasty, fresh and value for money. Staff are always friendly and professional.

Had a reservation for 7: 30 and we arrived at 7: 38 where we were met by an unwelcoming staff member. Rudely told us even before seating us that the kitchen closes at 8: 45, we placed our orders for entrees and inquired about drinks to which they had run out of. We asked about a red curry and were told they don’t do off the menu items and to go somewhere else. Absolutely pathetic customer service when the core business model should be customer service. Support a business that cares not this absolute excuse for a restaurant!

The restaurant opens at 12 pm sharp, and seem like it is best to make a reservation first. From all we ordered tom yum is definitely my favorite, service wasn't the friendliest, but still acceptable. Overall, if you are looking for a good taste of Thai cuisine, you can try this place.

Had the green thai curry, duck curry and the chicken satay. Loved all of it. Just the veges in the curries wasnt thai but i understand that. A d its fine. The thai tea for me was ok. The waiter was polite and helpful. Overall experience had a lovely time. Coming back for sure!

Has lost its mojo, waiting 20 min to order, one missed entree, then another 10 min wait for that, while servicing 10 uber drivers, not what expected, Waste of good money and another wise potential nice dinner somewhere else

Great food, service was attentive and food served quickly, good options for vegetarians as well. We tried 5 different dishes and all were tasty. Will be returning for sure.

I and my extended family were loyal customers of Six Senses Subiaco for many years, including holding functions there, however none of us will never step foot in the place again. Food quality has deteriorated and the staff are beyond rude and unhelpful. A Pad Thai was served to us without peanuts. No problem, we asked for a small dish of peanuts to add to the dish. Instead of saying yes, we were met with argument that they were in fact in there by 2 different staff, told we were lying and ultimately not given a small dish of peanuts to add to the dish. We left and will never come back.

We have on 3 occasions booked the restaurant and been told on arrival that there was no booking. Tonight we arrived at 6.30 and where told there was no booking there for us and they sat us us outside in the cold while there was two tables free for the whole time we where there. Then when we were leaving the people turned up. I Cant say that we were happy at all. There was no apology at all I was disgusted

Always love eating great food there. The only thing is just you have to bear with the staff. Can be very poor services and sometimes could feel being treated rudely. Would give 3.5 stars over all which comes from 5 stars of food and 2 star services.

Been a few years since I have been back, but they must've changed owners.used to be quality but went a few weeks back as a group of 9.

Food was served sloppy, too much MSG and produce used in the dishes was not of standard for the price you are paying. Notable diaappointments was that we paid nearly $30 for what they claimed was 9+ Grade Wagyu salad, we got overcooked striploins that was too tough to chew. The $12 curry puffs were literally bite size and tasteless. $13 or $14 large bowl of steamed rice topped it off.

There are plenty of other more authentic Thai food options around Perth. Buyer beware!

Food was great, nothing wrong with it. However, service was terrible. As soon as you get in, you were welcome with "untrained" staff, then waited for " manager" to take the order. To be honest, his behaviour was not showing he was a manager. No smile and just rude. It's a shame the food was great but you were not welcome there by the staffs.

Lazy Sunday dinner. Had a leisure stroll around our neighbourhood and decided to get some Thai for dinner. Overall taste is too sweet for my liking, slightly off balance. The sauce for the duck curry was a little too thin. Ambience and service was good. Not many Thai restaurants around the area known so can’t be too picky!

Fabulous food and friendly, attentive service. I had the satay stir-fry with chicken and it was delicious. Large servings. BYO.

We have been twice in the last few weeks. Food is great, service, not so much. After 2 years of not being able to make money, rushing 6 people (plus some other large tables) out the door at 9pm on a Saturday night after spending several hundred dollars does not make heaps of sense to me. But I guess it is quite a "Perth" thing to do. I'd suggest when possible, management have a bit of a review of some of the staff and their attitudes.

Came for dinner last night and once again Six senses did not disappoint! Last nights meal was brushed with excellence! Fresh and impactful flavours! I have woken up longing to go back today.

My favourite Thai in Perth. Always delicious. Best veg spring rolls and as a vegan I get the cashew nut and veg with rice. Can byo wine. Friendly and efficient service.
