I spent 6 hours in the ED and at every turn was met with happy and professional staff who looked after me very well. There is so much going on in ED and was a Friday night to boot - hats off to you and thank you.

QEII is a very busy emergency department.
However I'm quite satisfied with the way I was looked after.
Fractured my ankle and taken to QEII ED by ambulance.
Admission was done quickly and very well managed.
Then seen by a doctor for assessment. Doctor very good at assessing and friendly.
Then told to wait for x-ray.
Wait for not too long.
Results took a little longer, but ok.
Then longer wait for physio to organise moonboot and crutches.
Very good explanation by physios on what to do.
Overall, spent about 5 hours there but can't complain as I felt all staff were doing their best.

I spent a couple of hours in this place being checked out after being dumped hard when body surfing. Everyone from admin, reception, orderlies, nurses, scan staff and doctor were friendly, courteous and always acted very professionally. Nobody likes going to hospital but if you have to and have the choice, choose this one. Thank you to all those I came in contact with.

The triage nurse was really nice and responsive. All the doctors I have met here were gentle and patient. I was bitten by a dog in a dog park, and I got the wound cleaned and tetanus shot within an hour. That's pretty quick.

I took my son to emergency as he awoke at 1: 30am with severe pain hours after a motorbike accident.
He was provided with pain relief following triage within 40 minutes of our arrival and taken for x-rays and re-dressing of various grazes an hour later.
We had to await the x-ray results and the wonderful clerk, Vickie very kindly arranged for coffee and sandwiches for us.
Staff, both clinical and support, are a credit to the hospital for their kindness and for creating an atmosphere of calmness and reassurance to all patients.
It's truly appreciated.

I attended ED. The nurses actually filmed everyone waiting as part of their union campaign. It was awful to see them use vulnerable people as marketing props, including myself. No care shown and thoroughly dehumanising. Terrible hospital and the 9+ hour wait only made things worse.

Went to Charlies ED with an acute eye issue and was looked after so well by the Nurses and ED doctor on call. Dr Jamie Bowden was thorough and went above and beyond in ensuring I had good pain management and relief. Thanks for the excellent standard of care!

The worst place to come to if you have an emergency, avoid at all costs. I have been in ER for over 12 hours and still no bed given so I can sleep. I have to stay overnight for further tests but yet they can’t provide me a place to sleep. I was offered a wheelchair to sleep in. What a joke this system is. To have someone waiting for over 12 hours even though the doctors are the ones telling me I have to stay. I was sent in to the hospital from my GP and arrived at 2pm, it is now 2am and they are still waiting for a bed for me.
I feel trapped and it is the worst experience I have ever had. I will never come back to this place.
Midland Public Emergency is the best place if you have an emergency, never come here

Over-subscribed, understaffed, underprovisioned. Opaque treatments and unhelpful staff.

Avoid if at all possible.

Try and be sick Monday to Thursday office hours. Hard to find staff and get medicines at other times, it's inconvenient even as an inpatient. Oh! And being a corridor patient is very scary.

Good hospital but unfortunately all business are made by Human Resources and then this is a point. First, I have been there to see a doctor as I had food poisoning, after basic medication (panadol, blood test& water hydrate) got discharged and orientated to come back if it gets worse.
A day after it got pretty worsened, after vomiting 4 times I regressed to the hospital and the new doctor told me that she could nothing, if they could do nothing, why they told me to come back?
How is possible to discharge a patient vomiting (a vomit at the hospital)
I feel sad to see how doctors and nurses treat people (of course there is exception)
How our heros treat us when we must need them, I can not believe that the nurses and doctor who treated me is an example of health care profissional at all.

Staff really helpful and caring only problem with admission was you have to pay for the use of the tv other than that great place to recover, ten times better than joindalaup hospital

Had an electric shock last night and was looked after quickly by the staff. The lady who took my details was so kind and made me feel relaxed.

It’s not where you wish to spend time, but I was well looked after and made comfortable. A happy positive vibe by the staff was really noticeable. Thanks

The staff here are amazing, from start to finish of surgery for my wife, I cannot speak highly enough.
Such a shame that our own government slugs these guys for parking, they should not have to pay anything, hang your heads in shame, this government, previous governments, and governments to come no doubt

Unprofessional staff and talk very rude. They need to improve in certain areas. Staff need training to talk to patient. Just not really a great place. Waited more than 5 hours to get treatment for worse kidney pain.
