Simple As Pi Yoga - Riverton reviews
16A brilliant yoga class. Heather's class is perfect - a mix of meditation and relaxation with a series of yoga poses; all carefully considered for both the group and individual needs. Heather is like a breath of fresh air on a Monday morning - always welcoming and super organised. I love Simple as Pi Yoga
Heather runs a beautiful yoga class in a lovely relaxing space. She caters so well to the individual by giving options to scale the movements accordingly. I enjoy how she ends her classes with relaxation and/or meditation. I highly recommend Simple as Pi Yoga. It is a great way to start any day.
Thank you so much Heather, for welcoming me into your class. I really felt at ease with how you encourage newbies like me and are so helful and friendly. I am so glad that I finally plucked up the courage to do yoga as I know that it will help me through my senior years. It is something that everyone should seriously get ionvolved in. I especially like how you give different choices if people are not able to do exactly what you are demonstrating. Looks like you're stuck with me now!
Simple as Pi classes are relaxed, down to earth and welcoming. Heather ensures you do the class at your own pace and abilities always providing alternatives. Live online classes are always handy to join in at home if you can’t make it to the venue.
Great professional service for all, but very helpful if you are a senior and recovering from an illness.
Even as a complete beginner, Heather's teaching style put me at ease from the start - she is warm and friendly and her classes really do cater for all ability and experience levels. My weekly class is a little treat to myself that I look forward to - my time to relax and feel really grounded. The option to switch between face-to-face and online classes was really useful, especially when having to isolate - I didn't have to miss a week, and the technology was easy to set up and worked well.
If you are curious about yoga or would like an accessible yoga class, Heather is the teacher for you! Heather teaches a beautiful all-inclusive practice, always offering alternative poses. As a person in a large body, I have personally experienced Heather’s all-inclusive “yoga is for everybody” approach to teaching. Heather truly teaches a class which is accessible to everyone, so if you are a first timer, nervous about returning to yoga, a “can’t get off the floor”or “not flexible” person and would like to try a class, Heather will make you welcome!
Heather is an experienced yoga teacher who teaches a wide variety of yoga movements combined with an emphasis on correct breathing techniques. Heather's classes have helped me improved my strength and balance. By the end of each session of Heather's class, my mind and body are completely at ease and relaxed. I highly recommend Simple As Pi Yoga!
This class lead by the warm and open hearted Heather is the highlight of my week! I hadnt been to a yoga class in a long time and Heather was amazing at guiding me through the beginner basics again and helped with any questions I had. This class has plenty of giggles and you walk away feeling refreshed and relaxed every time. Highly recommend!
Heather immediately makes you feel welcome with her warm, friendly and professional approach. Suitable for people of all levels and offers incredible knowledge, support and guidance. Really enjoy the classes, highly recommend.
Simple as Pi is a wonderful yoga environment for everyone. Anyone looking for a small class size, intimate interactions, and a caring personalized teacher, Heather is for you. I came to Heather in a cast after ankle surgery. As a dancer I needed an alternate slow moving physical activity that concentrated on self reflection and gave flexibility in ability. She was able to give me alternative ways of moving on the ground or on a chair, and still have an enjoyable experience.
Heather is in tune with her students needs and listens to your concerns. She also sets up a very inviting environment that aids in relaxation and reflection.
Wonderfully relaxing yoga class. Incredibly friendly environment and such a lovely teacher.
Highly recommended
This is a great yoga class. I attended a weekend retreat and had a great time. I came out of it stretched, relaxed and reinvigorated. Heather's coaching style is calm and relaxed, with lots of options for beginners and not so beginners. I will be signing up to the next retreat and only wish I could attend the Friday morning classes.
Heather at Simple as Pi Yoga has such a mindful approach that anyone would feel comfortable in her class. Tonight's class was just beautiful. I was hyped coming straight from work, but Heather's calm and peaceful start to the session allowed me to relax quickly and get the most out of it. It was thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend Simple As Pi wholeheartedly.
I had my first yoga class (ever!) with Heather from Simple As Pi. The sessions are run in a neat space with plenty of room to move around. The class had a strong emphasis on breathing techniques, good posture, and balance by having good grounding with your feet. The class felt intimate as Heather took the time to demonstrate each technique, awareness in breathing, and finding an intuitive comfort in each posture I took. She was proactive in watching my positions and offering ways to bring further stability.
I have attended two of Heather's classes and I am really surprised about how Yoga can actually be something easy and fun to do on a week day evening. I have been practising on and off during ten years or so and I always encountered teachers and studios that had no patience for beginners, that will not explain the principles of yoga or the basic poses it was simply hit the ground running or else, get lost! With Heather I have found that peaceful space where to practice, learn about Yoga's basics, and truly listen to my body and do what I am able to do on a certain day. I recommend this practice to those that want to reconnect, learn and have a fun time after a full day of work or looking after little kids like myself. Cheers.
