These chalets are divine

It is perfect for a winter getaway, with a view of the forest, wood fire and a luxury bath, beautiful chocolates, cheeses and wine left for us (even the toilet paper smelt beautiful) oh also wifi and netflix.

In the morning I had a wonderful massage by the owner herself and sound meditation- wow! I felt so pampered. I have shown a photo of her beautiful meditation room- only a few steps from our chalet.

After lunch we went for a drive and found a gorgeous winery just down the road (seriously just a few minutes!) – we felt like we were in the South of France. You must try it if you stay here!

It’s just a short drive from the town centre of Cowaramup where we found some wonderful restaurants, quirky shops and the owners, Simone and Alan send you a list of recommendations when you book so you can plan ahead.

Thanks guys for such a wonderful pampering holiday and Simone for such a great massage- we’ll definitely be back.

SIMALA RETREAT Cowaramup

Wow what can, we say about this perfect place for a couple’s retreat.
Firstly just a short drive from the town centre of Cowaramup you turn into the drive way and drive through about 500 metres of beautiful natural forest which opens out to a large grassed area, you see the three Modern Chalet plus the Wellbeing Studio and the Owners Residence.
You get to your Chalet which we had the King Chalet, Chalet 2 you open the door to a well-appointed living area a fully equipped Kitchen the decor is fresh modern and very comfortable, a beautiful modern bathroom with separate toilet, a plush king bed.
All you can hear is the birds in the natural forest. The place is so tranquil and peaceful and a perfect place to explore the great offering’s from the Margaret River Region with some of the best places to visit are with-in a 10 minute drive, some of the oldest winery’s, and great places to eat, make sure you visit some of Simone and Alan recommendations which you will get emailed before your stay.
We cannot recommend Simala Retreat enough Thankyou Simone and Alan for providing this superb place to stay. We will be back.

Perfect winter getaway, it ticked all of my boxes - felt like we were the only ones here, view of the forest, wood fire and a luxury bath. Bonus was such a beautiful chalet, very modern with everything you need, netflix and wifi included. Simone and Alan are lovely hosts. We enjoyed a couples massage which was just bliss. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to be able to come back.

I had the pleasure of staying at Simala Retreat. The private accommodation is situated in a secluded and beautiful bush setting, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. The peaceful and tranquil environment, combined with the romantic atmosphere, made for a very special stay.

The accommodation itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a well-stocked kitchen and a huge two-person bath.

The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They provided us with plenty of information about the local area and made some great recommendations for places to visit and things to do.

Overall, I would highly recommend Simala Retreat for anyone looking for a private, romantic getaway in a beautiful and peaceful bush setting. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind with your loved one.

My husband and I stayed at the Simala Retreat for 3 nights for a little babymoon and loved it.

The chalet was stylish, comfortable and clean and included everything we needed for cooking, resting and relaxing. The setting was spectacular - so very quiet, beautiful, peaceful and serene.

As we were staying in the queen chalet connected to the main house, I was worried it may be noisy and limit our privacy - but it didn't at all.

My only constructive feedback would be that the outdoor chairs could be replaced with much more comfortable ones. As we spent the majority of our time overlooking the view and relaxing outside, it would have been even more enjoyable doing so on comfortable chairs.

Amazing location, close to wineries and less than 10 minutes from the town center.
The chalet was spacious and homely, clean and tidy, equipped with all the main necessities for the kitchen and a beautiful fireplace. It had a nice big bathroom and bathtub, comfortable bed and lovely outdoor setting to sit outside and enjoy the view. I could not recommend this place enough and will definitely be back! Thank you to Simone and Alan for making us feel welcome.
