Bureaucratic bungling definition, involving long and difficult dealings with officials: Bureaucratic bungling is the most likely explanation for things going wrong, a perfect description for an organization that employees caring professional nursing and care staff, offering valued services, from very caring and professional nursing and care staff, and then supports them with Bungling Bureaucrats, my first-hand experiences constantly for several years at Silverchain. I am willing to share with anyone at Silverchain, who cares and refutes “Ageism” exists within the Silverchain Bureaucracy. Nursing & Care 5 stars, Bureaucracy 0 stars. John Riseley

They will tell you that they'll come at x time every day, and every day it's someone different at a completely different time. They have no respect for the schedule of their clients and expect you to drop everything and be home, otherwise you don't get the service.

As sister of person with disability, I witnessed terrible treatment of my brother for years. When the NDIS started to roll out, things got worse. Lack of training, rude management. I will forever tell whoever I can, not to use Silver Chain.

An absolute con.
I was made an advocate for someone I care for by silver chain. I finally get government approval via my aged care taking months and months actually taking nearly 14 months then after all this time silver chain had the ordacity to to turnaround then even with government approval deny us care services being an advocate means nothing someone can sit in their own excrement for eternity for all silver chain cares about actually caring for people.

If I could leave a negative star review I would for them I would and a negative ten star review for time wasting.

A hundred plus star review for getting your hopes up.

Big Bouquets to EVERYONE at Silver Chain.

On the 28th Jan I was admitted to Sir Charles Gardiner ED and diagnosed with a Erysipelas / Cellilitis infection of the scale infection requiring administered iv antibiotic 6 hourly. On 29th at 7.30pm was discharged into the care of Silverchain twice daily iv doses with obs and visual checks.
I cannot give enough praise and recommendations to everyone from the 1st response ph calls to the Dr's and the 1st rate nursing staff. I was going to mention you all by name but I would be disappointed with myself if I missed out on even 1 of you.
The Service, Professionalism and complete confidence I received from all staff made this medical disruption during our holiday to Perth very bearable. The communication kept me informed every step of the way from beginning to end.
I am very pleased that the Silver Chain service was recommend by the Dr at Sir Charles Gardiner Hosp.
I would advise any person requiring hospital at home to confidently use the service's of the Silver Chain Group.

I have to agree with rickandcat
I've cleaned my nannas house because i could smell something and she was complaining of breathing issues well I'd went and done a thorough clean of her home only to find dirty cupboards mouldy windows floors not mopped properly found mould near nannas fridge she recieves sliverchain services may be now i should help her find other services

My father used silverchain for many years. The service level was terrible my father was always dirty the house was always a mess his clothes were alway filthy. The nurses signed a work book stating what they did eg clean house, showed etc. I always came in after they left and found they did nothing. Thei work force has no care factor and takes advantage of the elderly with dirmentia. WARNING TO EVERYONE GET OTHER SERVICES FROM OTHER COMPANIES. We have changed his careers and he looks so much happier and the house is always clean.

I can't thank Silverchain enough for the care they are providing my dad. The organisation is amazing and the 24/7 hour support is just incredible. Everyone is super friendly and so willing to help from the Doctors, to the Nurses, Care aids, phone staff and delivery staff. Silverchain has provided my family with such immense support and I would highly recommend them!

Hi, I have a 95 year old, home bound, friend who used your service for home care. She found valuables missing, jewellery; objects with sentimental & material value, etc.after one of your employees had worked in her home for some time. She rang your service to report this & was told "No-one else has complained". She discontinued your service & has had no-one from Silver Chain 1, follow up on her complaint. 2, enquire why she discontinued use of your service (surely the usual action of a business when losing a client?) She is distressed due to the loss of items that had high sentimental value to her & the fact that she feels she 'let the thief in' plus the lack of concern by your Organisation! This issue dominates her thinking with resulting decrease in her vitality & well being. It is not for me to say whether her complaints are founded in fact, but the circumstantial evidence supports her conclusions. Her trust in the world & especially in your Organisation has been eroded if not destroyed. I have urged her to report this to the Police. She has spoken with other people who have used your service & have shared her misfortunes, so she believes she is not the only one who has experienced predation by one (or more) of your employees. I am concerned that one of your clients can be fobbed off when making a serious complaint of this nature & your failure to have procedures to identify why clients discontinue to use your service.
