Sidekick Cafe, Margaret River reviews
38One of the best cafes In Margaret river.located on the main street, next to IGA. It has a distinctly Margaret River vibe, and is popular with the locals!
Cosy cafe, good iced mocha and friendly staff. All of their cakes are gluten free, didn't get to try the cakes this time but we will definitely be back.
Amazing coffee (dukes️)
Super friendly staff
Really good banana bread, and vegan wrap
And reasonable prices too.
Win!
Love the coffee, especially love the Earth muffins! I drive all the way from Perth just to buy 6 earth muffins to eat each day during my working week.
I DREAM of the avocado bagel with cream cheese! So delicious staff of very friendly and coffee is delicious!
Love Sidekick.great coffee and friendly service.it opens early and closes later (around 4pm ish). Good vegan and veg options too
Nice little. Corner local cafe. Nice service and beautiful deco. Almond Orange slice is nice. Just a little dry but full of flavour
Friendly staff, nice looking cafe.
We stopped there early in the morning on our way to a cave further north.
The vegetarian muffin was amazing, brownie with almonds and banana cake were great.
Nice place to stop by for breakfast and coffee!
I had high hopes for this cafe given its great reviews but it let me down. Our breakfast came out before the coffee and I had well and truly finished my breakfast until the coffee came out. It took 30 minutes for a coffee to appear on my table whilst many people came and went. Whilst it was a Sunday morning, it wasn’t overly busy in comparison to other cafes on the main road. Very disappointed.
Friendly staff. Nice coffee and banana bread. Only limited pastry or bread for selection. Was expecting scones but not available.
Best coffee and banana bread in the area.staff are friendly and quick customer service. I love that they offer used coffee grind for the public to take home for their plants
Good coffee checked! Lovely N welcoming staff. My final meal in Margaret river town before heading back to Perth! Gg to miss all the good coffee and food!
Probably the best coffee in town and everyone is generally friendly. We've had both decent and bad coffees there, lacking a bit of consistency. What has been consistent is that it is soooo slow. I wish they'd pick up the pace.
UNIQUE PLEASANT CAFE
We enjoyed our cafe and cake experience at the Sidekick Cafe situated next to the Supermarket. Outdoor seating is also available and easy access for those with walkers or wheelchairs. Coffee was smooth and tasty, not bitter. Be sure to ask for a mug if you want a larger cup. The cakes are delicious and homemade. Getting my sumptuous carrot cake heated was not a problem for the courteous staff. A casual comfortable cafe but I'm not sure about the modern appearance of no ceiling which exposes all the plumbing and beams. A delightful experience regardless. Easy to find in the main street of Margaret River.
This morning I had an awesome serve of avocado on toast for just $8!
The food menu's not very big. It's mainly things like cake, muffins, and toast.
Everyone enjoyed their food, and the coffee was great too. The avocado on toast was a really generous serving.
They use milk lab.
Vegan friendly, they don't have heaps, but they have some tasty options.
Food seemed good. Celiac friendly. Ambiance is pleasant but the service is a bit chaotic (in slow motion). Ordered two skinny long macs and a cookie to go. Took 15 minutes to walk out. Barista seemed to be making one coffee at a time and serving them to tables as they were made. Not efficient time management.
If you like strong coffee, this is not your place. If you like a milky latte and you’re not in a hurry, this will suit you.
Very cosy and relaxed, dog friendly, friendly staff, good meal choices and delicious coffee.
Got two egg & mushroon wraps, they were good however needed something extra like a sauce or sundried tomatos even.
Seen other eating smashed avo and it looked very good.
Do recommend this place.
