SHQ Sexual Health Quarters

This would of been my second experience with shq the receptionist I spoke to was lovely, but the nurse I spoke to over the phone (I believe her name was Karen ironically enough) had an abrupt and dismissive tone and wasn’t pleasant to talk to about a sensitive issue, saying “no” to open questions that require further elaboration and rudely asking “what my problem is” I actually cancelled my appointment over it but my first with them was good

Although my procedure was a disaster (at no fault of theirs) I was able to get through it with such a supportive team of people. I am very grateful for their help and caring nature. Thankyou

Would avoid, told them I was on sertraline they then prescribed me with medications that cannot be taken with sertraline my health instantly deteriorated after taking these medications and I was a zombie after a week of taking them, I had to go to hospital they tried to blame it on an ectopic pregnancy which was proved by the hospital I didn't have, I also requested my tests etc to be emailed to me so I can move on with a better clinic to get my procedure took them 2 days to send an email that they said they the sent the email as soon as I handed over my email address which obviously didn't happen I find this extremely unprofessional as it pushed back my procedure because they couldn't send it when they said they did - I called back multiple times asking for it and they told me they were trying to call me which isn't true because it would of showed up as a missed call on my phone
overall staff are not good at their job and try to cover it up and put the blame on the patient

Every single person I interacted with there was so nice and caring, really felt very welcoming and safe. My doctor and nurse were excellent, very experienced and answered all of my questions, I didn't feel rushed at all. Chloe has such a calming vibe and she really helped put me at ease during and after my procedure.

The staff at this clinic are excellent. They are welcoming and friendly. The nurse I saw (Ellie) was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and positive and upbeat. She made me feel like I was chatting to a friend I'd known for years. You never feel rushed or pressured for time during your appointment.

They have a variety of different services. I would recommend them highly.

What a wonderfully inclusive, thorough experience. Kind and compassionate and non-judgemental clinician - I can't remember their name, sorry! Easy booking process and nice to have same day appointments available. So different to going to a GP for a screen.

Everyone here was super friendly and helpful and approachable. They went out of their way to help me out, and their caring nature was evident starting from the phone call all way to when I saw them in person. Amazing service and people.

All the staff is super friendly, really care and make you feel super comfortable. The nurse was exceptional, one of the best health service I have experience in Perth.

Finally, an inclusive medical facility that have competent staff that are not only caring but very knowledgeable about female health. Very happy with the service there.

Just wanted to say how comfortable and at peace I was when visiting the SHQ few weeks ago.
The nurse Gaynor were very sweet and kind, I was very nervous and anxious about my implanon removal and she made me feel so much better by making me feel comfortable. & I have no scar! Big thanks to her

Yes, the staff and doctors are extremely very helpful, pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend SHQ and makes my visit feel very stress free. Just give them a chance, I am sure they won't dissapoint.

I had a procedure done at SHQ and I just wanted to express how grateful I am to the staff at the clinic. The procedure was uncomfortable and painful, but the staff took so much care in making sure I felt supported and looked after throughout the whole thing. Thank you!

I seen Dr Sarah Smith. She was probably one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I didn’t feel rushed in and out and I didn’t feel like just a number. I felt she actually cared and gave me helpful and knowledgeable advice. She took her time to explain and answer any questions that I had. I will definitely go back there to see her.

Friendly and informative staff, I’ve seen Gaynor a couple of times and she’s great to be seen by.

Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, who don’t dismiss any client concerns, and ensure a thorough approach is taken to addressing any issues.

Staff are really nice & professional, but I had to wait 70 minutes after my appointment to see someone.and I was 30 minutes early!
