Shona Threading & Waxing

I love coming to Shona s studio for my eyebrows. She very gentle and makes sure that her customers are comfortable! Would definitely recommend this salon!

The owner and beautician Sonal is such a beautiful, kind and gentle soul. She shows great care and love in the work she does, and creates a connection with all her clients regardless of their background. I’ve been to many “eyebrow ladies” over the years and never stuck with someone as long as I’ve stuck to shona threading

Very bad services and most unprofessional Staff I ever encountered in my life. They will stress you (Even misused facility of 000 to threat me and stressed my daughter without understanding gravity of 000). My daughter was refused for her eye lashes removal for turning 8 minutes late as she had some transport issues where my daughter tried three time to call business and inform reason for running late. Their own communication system was not working and horrified that my daughter was refused when no customer in shop and takes 20 minutes for lashes removal. When I visited shop after approx. 15 minutes (From car park to Shop) there were no customer, so this shows level of customer services and respect for children. She created scene by call 000 pretending as victim but nothing against us. She refunded part of money after keeping back fees which was not concern to me, but customer services and afterward mental trauma is all what matter to me so basis this I will not recommend this business to anyone due horrible experience and trauma to daughter.

Very professional, patient, thorough, gentle and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for full face and eyebrow threading.

I have been to Shona’s salon one time months ago and Shona definitely did a great job with my eyebrows threading and it was flawless but I must say she runs on time for her appointments and will not accept if you arrive 1-2 minutes late even if she doesn’t have any more clients within the next 30 minutes! That’s what I don’t appreciate about Shona’s threading and waxing salon. Yes customers need to show respect by being on time for appointments but at the same time if you clearly don’t have any clients booked within the next 15-30 minutes and if client arrived before 5 minutes past the appointment time- I don’t see the point of NOT being accommodative to provide the service! This salon is not located in an area that you can easily locate from outside as it is inside another business building! What I could see from previous comments and from my
experience, by bringing up her website “policy” she’s waiting to cancel the appointment if by any chance a client comes 1-2 MINUTES late from the scheduled threading appointment whether or not she has plenty of appointment times available or not!

Edited: I have my consumer rights to express my experience in this platform just as you have the right to decline to provide me the service only because I was 2 minutes late (appt time 16: 00 - arrived at 16: 02). Second service was booked 2 hours in advance and plenty of appt times were available from 1: 30-16: 45. You clearly didn’t lose your time or money to prep for the procedure and/or lose any other client bookings to reschedule my second time.
I have no further interest to justify myself. Thank you!

I had a service done today by Shona and I have to say that I am incredibly happy with her work. She is extremely professional and friendly and made me feel super comfortable. The studio is so clean and it’s small and cozy.
I will definitely be going back to her from now on. Thank you Shona.

This people are scammers with online appointment. I rang at 4.00 clock and they told me book an appointment at 4.30 for eyebrow. I reached at 4.32. I apologised for the delay. But this lady was so rude to the customer and said your appointment is cancelled and no refund or anything. I made an humble request to do an another appointment. But she refused. I don't recommend any people this one.

I was the original customer who booked the appointment for 4: 30 pm at 4: 00pm. I did reach 5 minutes late, for your information
that gives me entitlement for 5 minutes of service even as a customer who came late.

I HAVE READ YOUR EMAIL CONFIMATION, THAT CLEARY SAYS EVERY CUSTOMER IS ALLOWED TO MAKE ONE RESCHEDULE IF CANNOT ATTEND THE APPOINTMENT IN NEXT 4 DAYS.

THE MONEY IS NON-REFUNDABLE ONLY IF YOU CANCEL OR DONT SHOW UP. I NEVER CANCELED AND I DID SHOW UP.

SO, I WAS NEVER GIVEN ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO RESCHEDULE WITHIN NEXT 4 DAYS AS PER YOU EMAIL, WHICH I READ.

I was basically told, no refund, no appointment no service I was late.

I never recieved any cancellation text or email even until next day, which I am entitled as a customer in the court of law.

Regardless of your terms and conditions in the email, I was still entitled to receive that 5 minute service where I could have been seen in a person and be politely notified that I was late. Politely told to reschedule the appointment again as your rules are different.

I returned from the door as I was shut down harshly by the lady speaking in the phone. In my experience that is defined as very rude when someone has already paid the money.

I have read all your responses to low rating customers. That is way rude too. You have never been accountable for your low quality phone customer service. But you rather find it easy to blame on customers saying we are the ones who is irrationale and our allegations are stupid.

I will never step in a place like this. It was never about refund or being late. It was about the way I was told as a new customer which you have lost. And I know it wont make any difference to your arrogant attitude as a business owner.

Dont bother replying to my review, I know you will find another EXCUSE to blame me back again.

As, I already said, you will find a reason to blame me back. It is not confusing at all, instead YOU ARE NOW MANUPULATING THE SITUATION. I was standing at the entrance of shop and harshly shut down by the lady in the phone.

I RANG HER NOT TO SAY I WAS LATE, ORIGINALLY I RANG HER TO ASK I CAN'T SEE THE SHOP WHERE IT IS? AND I TOLD HER THAT I SAW THE LOGO AND WILL COME NOW. THEN SHE REPILIED SINCE I AM ALREADY LATE IT IS CANCELLED.
I CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH PHONE RECORDING IF YOU WANT MAAM.

She said" I can't help you now" "There is a next client waiting for me" "your appointment is automatially cancelled"

I didnt see any point to go inside the shop. You can check the cctv footage at the entrance of the shopping centre. That will prove i was there.

I am just disappointed, that you as an owner is not taking responsibility and accountabilty at all. The lady never ever gave me an option of rescheduling.
May be she forgot to guve me that option. But I didnt get the option to reschedule at all.
If I was given so, why would I waste my time fighting back for sincerity from you. Which I never got. If you have a little bit of courtesy, you will accept that I wasnt treated well.

And thats it. I was not treated well. And even right now I am not being treated well as a customer. This is the bottom line.

My first time visiting the salon and it was the best experience! Shona constantly checks to make sure you’re comfortable and lets you know when the process will start and what she is doing. This salon would be perfect for nervous or anxious customers as it is quiet, relaxed and comfortable. My brows were exactly how I like them, Shona did a perfect job. I will definitely be returning again for more treatments.

Awesome threading place! Literally nobody ever took that much time to thread my eyebrows like Shona. Absolutely happy with the result and can 100% recommend coming here

She was helpful with me. It was my first time to get my lashes done. I was really scared, but have enjoyed the result so far!

Excellent service as always, been going to Shona for a couple years now. I'm on a trip overseas now and realised how much I miss her and value her incredible service.
She is so gentle, thoughtful, efficient (but not rushed) and always makes sure I am comfortable and at ease. Listens to what I want and I rarely feel any pain from her threading (been to many other salons who are rough). Shona creates a custom beautiful full and soft arch shape for me (not too thin and round which I dislike from other salons). Trims my brows so they are perfectly neat and shows me multiple previews in the mirror to make sure I am happy as she proceeds with every next step. Shona offers aloe gel to soothe the skin afterwards and brushes off any loose hairs so there's no itchy stray hairs on me when I leave. She's such a blessing and I would wholeheartedly recommend!

I made my appointment this morning for later in the morning. The online booking was easy to use.
The salon is basic but clean and well set up.
Shona is wonderful. Very friendly, caring and skilled.
I think this is the best threading experience I have ever had.
Prices were reasonable. I appreciated the privacy of a salon, rather than the exposure of a shopping centre kiosk.
I will certainly come back again.

Still use Shona for my brows and upper lip - always looks great. She now has an online booking system which is easy to use. Will keep going back.

Shona is amazing, her quality of work is of a high standard, and her customer service is impeccable. She is friendly, polite, and the salon is clean.

Excellent customer service, cheaper than most and my eyebrows have never been threaded better than here!
