Shen's Massage

After a terrible accident (Electrocuted) at work I started to see "Shoca" at Shens massage @ the Innaloo branch. I have been getting a remedial massage from her for over a year now
"Shoca" has made a huge difference to my quality of life. I used to have terrible headaches & they have nearly disappeared, my pain level was at 9 & she has bought it down to a 3.
The service at Shens is always friendly and professional.
I highly recommend Shens massage and especially "Shoca".

Have been twice - the first time early last year was great, but went again recently (Jan 2024) and it wasn't a great experience. Had to keep telling the attendant her pressure was too hard despite mentioning I wanted a softer, gentle relaxing massage. Back has been sore for days, and not in a good way. It's also narrow and crowded with not a lot of space between rooms. Keeping that extra star for the previous visit.

I will never be returning here. I was sitting at the waiting area which is behind the door when you come in. The door has no stoppers and is a 100kg heavy glass for which swings right open when you open it & is very hard to stop due to it being so heavy. I had just received a massage (30 minute reflexology) which worked out to be 20 mins as I was sitting waiting for my partner for 10 mins due to my session being rushed & very weak and I definatly do not recommend the massage. While I was waiting for my partner at the waiting behind the entrance door my partner had finished and we proceeded to walk out of the store which then the 100kg door had swung open (due to it being so heavy my partner couldn’t stop it in time) & it squished my toes under the door. My big toe nail come straight off & has broken my big toe. I am absolutely disgusted with the service and now also very disgusted in the occupational health and safety of this store. 1 you do not put the waiting area behind a door squished up. 2 if you have a 100kg door that can’t be stopped once its opened out a stopper on the floor or put something under the door so that this cannot happen. I am pregnant and went for a relaxing massage. I am very unhappy with the massage services $65 for 20 min reflexology is disgusting & then to now have a missing toe nail & a broken / shattered big toe due to your door and unsafe practises. I am pregnant and wish I never come in this store I will be taking it further as I’ve been in excruciating pain / with a bad infection which (I hope to god it doesn’t get in my blood stream and affect my baby) they did not offer any help and compensation for what had happened. I will be taking this further and looking into the occupational health and safety standards for businesses & also taking this further & will not stop until I have been compensated for this injury.

I had a 1 hour reflexology massage today and I can honestly say, it was the best massage I have ever had! I’ve had a lot! That was amazing! Thank you. I’ll be back for sure xx

Best spur of the moment Sunday decision I've made in ages. Far better use of a cheeky $35 than any number of pints or table lamps. Wishing I were as effortlessly good at my job as that man.

I am normally happy with the massage I get from here but this time around I had a young man give me a massage and he was way too gentle, I didn't get any benifit from the massage. I asked for more pressure but i don't think he had the strength to do so. Very disappointed: (

I will firstly acknowledge that I have had massages here previously that were at a decent standard, however I had a terrible experience today and would like to offer you guys some feedback. I have been in hospital all week recovering from severe tonsillitis and fevers, my glands were very sore and I just wanted to come get a relaxing massage. On arrival I was not asked about injuries or the pressure I would like my massage which should always be done. Once the massage started she came straight in with her elbows on my neck and upper back which was very sore from being severely Ill. I told her ouch that’s to hard and she said oh okay but basically kept going very very firmly to the point where I was flinching and gritting my teeth. I don’t know why she continued to do it so hard. I understand she did not understand the background of my week however you should be making us fill out health screening form or asking the necessary questions. It will make the expensive better for the customer and not hurt/injure them. My shoulder feels really sore now and I actually started crying as that’s how painful it was. Perhaps also discuss with your therapists to watch out for signs that someone is in pain and maintain communication with the client to see if they are okay …

I recently had a massage, they were busy and called for another staff member from the other shop. This staff had a runny nose and was sniffling during the entire massage, and to be honest, it wasn't an enjoyable massage. I left, then the next day, woke up with a cold and sore throat. I emailed them on Feb 14th as I was annoyed. They advised me that the manager would call me re; the massage. I still haven't heard back from them. I've always been happy with their massages, but this has been an unpleasant experience. If we can't visit Drs or hospitals with cold symptoms, staff shouldn't massage clients.

Staff was friendly, I had whole body massage killed my neck and back, now I am taking a pain killer. I never ever can recommend here to anyone

I try come each week for a neck, back and reflexology massage. Iris is amazing and I always feel great and so relaxed each time. I would highly recommend having a massage here which I have been doing for nearly 2 years now with Iris and I have consistently had great massages. Big thumbs up from me.
