I'm visiting Busselton for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. I joined a friend for dinner and beer and loved Shelter Brewing. The building is gorgeous. It looks like a modern rendition of the iconic buildings on the Busselton jetty. The beer and food are excellent. I had a wood fired pizza - delicious and healthy. My friend had a salad with grilled chicken and said it was excellent. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. What's not to love about this place? I will definitely return to Shelter Brewing.

Visited for lunch on our family weekend away, there was 5 of us. I have been before and knew its was a really nice venue. Ordering was easy with choice of table service or app, friendly staff, we were there after the peak time. We had an issue with one of the meals that came out and got staff attention, who swiftly returned it to the kitchen to be made new. Didn't take long at all and it was arranged in a way that we knew it was made fresh again and not just "fixed". We were absolutely happy at this point that the problem was resolved so quickly. When the bill came they had not only credited us the meal in question (which was already nice), but also all the drinks on top of that! We were over the moon! The reason we were given was that we didn't complain or made a big deal out of it, which makes me sad thinking what kind of customers they must usually get. All I expect is if there's a problem, it gets rectified quickly and without arguing, which happened in this case, so no reason for me to complain:)
Long story short: We loved how we were treated at Shelter brewing and will be back any opportunity we get. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, well done

We were served by Dan Van and he went above and beyond to cater for our dietary needs.
Will return again for sure.

Great brewery and kitchen, loved all the beers I tried on the paddle and my pork schnitzel was delicious in the pretzel bun

You get to see the beer being made from your table and the beach n jetty at your back.

Our family enjoyed an amazing evening last night with great food, great beer, an amazing venue and the staff were outstanding. On a side note; two in our party had the squid and said it was the best they've ever had and the kids raved about the fish. Thankyou!

Nice venue with a great atmosphere but a bit expensive for the quality of food and the menu is very limited.

Lager delish, Sav Blanc nice, Bubbles flat as a tak, limited menu, food ordinary & expensive, staff great. Go somewhere else to eat

It was very busy when we came for lunch and was lucky to get a table. The beer my husband enjoyed and my sister-in-law enjoyed her coke spider but the prawn pizza did not have enough topping but I enjoyed my kids fish and chips but we ordered a basket of chips which didn't come until after we had finished the food so we sent it back and there was a nice waitress who made sure we weren't charged for it

Well made coffees with lovely spice mix topping. Another shout out to Roasting Co from the south.

Ordered the 'Whole Market Fish' today, I could finish the whole dish myself, thoroughly enjoyed dining at Shelter, always!

The blonde girl who was serving us who had just started working for shelter was absolutely lovely.
Great food & service

Great food and lovely ambience. Although the place was very busy for lunch, service was still very quick and staff were friendly. The mussels and pizza were excellent - the brisket was not bad. Would highly recommend.

A pretty cool brewery by the jetty to chill and unwind with friends and family. The food service is quick and good. We ordered a paddle and a few drinks which too came out pretty quick. All in all a good experience. Will visit again.

Second time and I would give an average rating, overall the location is great but first experience was walking up Friday morning and asking staff about making a booking for dinner that night, got an arrogant "good luck with that response and try your luck". So went down there about 6pm and got a spot pretty easy, what was all the rudeness about earlier? Anyway food, limited range no fish and chips as a main, chips and calamari and pizza, both were ok but over priced. Beer range, usual overpriced over complex craft styles, Red Lager was only winner for mine. Place is aimed at tourist cash.
Second time made reservation on line oddly enough sat at same spot same waiter 6 months later, food much the same but the Red Lager wasn't as good this time, recipe seemed to have changed.
Service good, but must say the whole table service thing is more of a hassle than it's worth and the Q code order system is clunky.
Rather just order at the bar.
Would be nice to get options as to location of seating as well. Outside was my preference but got inside.
Good tourist experience I suppose, but that's where it ends, for a more relaxed local value vibe Esplanade is better.

Rocked up, no booking on a busy, gorgeous Sunday afternoon. No worries, table for 2.
Great service, all wait staff were smiling. Kitchen was very organised. Great food cooked well! Will be back next visit, yummy!
