Shehnai Tandoori Indian Restaurant reviews
25Love this place. Butter chicken is the best this side of the Indian Ocean and my favourite I'd Bhindi Gosh extra hot. Yum yum
Loved everything about this reastraunt and will be returning again. Great atmosphere, food was delicious and the service was very good.
Poor.
Chicken Korma had runny sauce that tasted just of cream and had no breast meat, dark meat bits only which hubby does not like.
Pilau rice dish and vegetable curry OK but bland.
Chicken tikka and onion baaji were a pass, but again, the chicken was bits of dark meat stuck together.
Naan bread burnt.
Spent $134 and hubby had no meat on his plate.not happy.
All this left, probably for the bin.
Good food, ordered as soon as the place opened, but even giving 1.25 hours notice our takeaway wasn't ready for pick up! Another 35 minutes to wait. Over 2 hours.seriously? Not good enough if you're expecting timely service. Not good enough if you're hungry! And waiting for it to be ready.the place us soooo noisy it's unpleasant. So, although food is ok it's not worth the hassle.
Came here for a birthday dinner. Order multiple dishes, they were all delicious! The chicken vindaloo was quite spicy but still yummy. Customer service was honestly great. The owner and staff sang happy birthday and even gifted some chocolates which was a nice gesture. Our stay accidentally took longer then their closing time but they were more then happy for us to stay longer, without asking. Definitely recommend coming here!
I love the food here! I’ve been coming here for 17 plus years. The Butter Chicken is amazing, best I’ve tasted in Perth! The onion Bhajis are a must!
After visiting the cinema we decided to try this restaurant without a booking. We were greeted and seated in a booth by friendly staff and treated to a wonderful meal without feeling rushed. Thank you Shehnai for reviving my confidence in Currambine food service.
As a customer of 15 years. Called for take away at 6: 30 to be told.this would be ready at 9pm! I could cook it in half the time! Disappointing.
World class, best Indian restaurant i have ever eaten at. You wont find some of the recipes anywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Thank you.
I ordered the vegetable samosa absolutely disgusting, i ordered the chicken korma it was full of fat.the waitresses look stressed the whole time and i could hear the rude horrible chef screaming the whole time.i came in last friday.
Top stuff. All items were great. We ordered mixed platter, palak machli (spinach fish), chicken tikka and beef vindaloo. Spices just right and good ambiance & hospitality
Was invited out by our neighbours for an Indian meal. Had a great feast of fresh tasty food. Highly recommend.
Magnificent meal, delicious butter chicken & fantastic service! Thanks & see you next time
Watery curries. Truly dreadful. Pleasant service though. Would not recommend. Go to Anghiti in Heathridge instead.
Fantastic food.
Quite a limited menu, but what they do is consistently good. Seekh kebabs great, chicken tikka great. Really, really good naan and the best Vindaloo ever.
Always look forward to coming here.
Had the butter chicken and lamb Korma, the greatest ever tasted.
The chef is a genius.
The best curry I have ever had. I can’t get enough. No other places even come close to being as good. The butter chicken has so much flavour and the korma is delicious
Food was cold and not fresh at all. Ordered chicken tikka and fish amritsari and cannot finish anything.
Decided not to ordered mains
Staff was good and service was good though
The best authentic Indian/Pakistan food in Perth. Forget butter chicken, try Kashmiri chicken, also recommend palak gosht - lamb with spinich and if you like hot the vindaloo is a vindaloo!
Absolutely gr8 food and the beautiful staff were amazing. Love love love and totes recommend
