Amy was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my product enquiries. I cannot believe a shaver shop sales personal exceed my experienced salesman in the car industry which is a incredibly competitive market. Blows me away how professional this young lady was. 10/10

The young lady who works there most weekdays is incredibly moody and rude. I’m a polite and friendly person by nature and she has always come across as rude and irritable. Also very difficult to deal with, not friendly at all.

The guy that works there on the other hand is really friendly and nice to deal with - sadly though he actively lied about the product. I purchased a Phillips S9000 shaver for $250, they were available online for $160 however under the name “Phillips Norelco”. I asked him why the difference and could he price match. He told me that’s a cheap chinese knock off, not the same quality and they pay Phillips a license fee to use there name, but it’s a completely inferior product, he gets this question all the time.

I gullibly believed him and purchased the unit for $250, only to go home and a simple google search revealed that Norelco is just an acronym for "North American Philips [electrical] Company". I could’ve bought it from Amazaon Australia for $160 and it would be the exact same product - but was actively lied to just to make a sale.

I bought a lighted magnifying mirror for myself from Shaver Shop in Hay St just before Xmas and I’m totally dissatisfied with the quality of the product and poor service, which I feel was very devious.

At the shop on the shelf was one quite nice mirror and close by was there was a price tag of $49.95. The shop assistant who was attending me was standing right next to me the whole time while I was making my decision and then had to go outt back for a few minutes to get it. She returned put the item in a plastic carry bag and charged me for it and for the other items I wanted. When i got home I and unboxed it I found it was a totally different product to the one I was looking at on the shelf. I rang and spoke to the assistant and wss informed that I was looking at the Homedics Murrow and it was priced at $79.95 but the price tag was for the Allure at $49.95. This was never clarified at any point whilst purchasing the item. And if I wanted the homedics I would need to return the Allure and then pay the difference. The item is bulky, I don’t have a car plus it was Xmas so to
WaaaI decided to stick with it although I was quite angry at the service and felt that this was asituatuon where they should be coming to me and not I to them. Well, one week after Xmas it is broke while changing the batteries. The backing plate where the batteries and spring contacts sit is so brittle it just crumbled when I changed the batteries over. I am really angry as I also have to be the one who had to put the effort in t o get the product back to Hay streeet when they should be doing this for me. Note normally I would deal with this problem v privately. Given I have already approached them privately already and was not happy with the outcome I have decided to go public.

Purchased a shaver on Black Friday as the sales told me that was the best price and I couldn't get any price lower than that at any time. Randomly checked yesterday which just 4 days after purchase and found the price has down again! Contacted customer support to see they can offer price guarantee and got refused. They don't do anything after sale. Please think again before you purchase, the sales is not trustable and after sale is terrible. I don't think I will come back again. Very disappointed! Unpleasant experience.

Visual merchandising could improve. Is everything done in store? Does management use plans to standardise how stock is presented? Who checks that stores meet the merchandising standard?

The team at Shaver Shop Piccadilly are helpful, efficient, provide service with a smile and knowledgeable of the products they sell. The shop is well organised with no clutter. Everything is in order.
