Shark Bay Holiday Cottages

Absolutely horrendous! Reading all the previous reviews and the promises to be “renovated” appears to be a hoax. WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

The location was awesome but the chalet was below average. The place needs a paint job and the holes in the walls to be sealed.
The beds were very uncomfortable. Leaking taps, toilet did not flush properly.
What the website shows is not what you get. The lounge suite should be thrown out it stunk. It belongs to the tip.
Air conditioning was only in the kitchen area. No bedside lamps. The floor was disgusting. The front door was filthy and flywire door had to be opened with force and on the second day it fell out of the track and almost hit me on the head. It was fixed eventually.
The only good thing was the fridge! By the way they advertise a coffee pod machine? Where was it?
There's no way I would book for my family to stay there ever again.

Our family stayed in the White Pointer room. My wife and I both received electric shocks from the shower. (Reported and now fixed) The double bed was a smaller size and my feet hung off the end. (I am 6'0)
And all the beds were in a terrible state. Management were friendly. Great location but overall not good.

Great little stay, easy to check in and out. Rooms are a bit outdated but in such an old town it suits and just for a bed to sleep in it suited us perfectly. Great price for what it was and we enjoyed sharkbay as a whole

Awersome units, great beds, and the linen was lovely. Great views, excellent location. There is plenty of room for our car and boat and the dog. The Owner was very helpful and nice. We will always be back.

Our family stayed in two of the apartments which were recently renovated and really lovely! Nicely equipped kitchen too, which was super handy

They are old buildings being done up to a more modern feel the grounds around the place need tidying up old tyres tree bark piles it will improve in time just across road from beach and wildlife walks past which is a bonus

Overall a hideous place. Would not bring my dog here. I stayed here six months ago. Beds smelled like persperation. They told my friend that they were renovating and that it should be finished 2022. Now they are using that excuse again, but extended the date to mid 2023. The place needs to be demolished. Not renovated. Six months ago the locks on the doors didnt work. Seems nothing has changed.

This place is flash enough for me and Maxxy! It's on the beach in Denham, it has a bedroom / kitchen, front deck and separate bathroom. Plus, I can have my dog stay with me! This is luxury for us. Wifi is available, owners live on-site and it has a laundry. General Shop is next door, and a Restaurant and Bottlo within 800m. Oh, and Monkey Mia is 20 odd k's away if you want to do the tourist thing.

Greated by the owners couldn't have been more helpful, gem of a place to stay! (Dog friendly too which is awesome!)

Digusting nothing like pictures in bookings. Run down filthy furniture rubbish all over the grounds. The only redeeming quality is they gave us a full refund. Dont book here

Cottage was old and very tired. Seemed to be all second hand furniture. The sofa was badly stained and smelt. I had to put a towel over it, so we could sit down. Fridge not working properly, flyscreen wire to door ripped and lock to door didn't work properly. Walls very thin we could hear next door talking! Shame, as Shark Bay is a nice area to unwind and relax.

Owners friendly, welcoming n very helpful.budget price for a million dollar view of the ocean what else more could you want on ya week off.

Very friendly, easy going staff and owners, beautiful cottages and accessible for wheelchairs. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We love the view, perfect to see the sunset everyday. Simple accommodation, but clean, tidy and great location.

Very relaxing. Fully equipped cabin. Excellent location. Stunning views. Friendly people. Pop next door to the supermarket in the morning for a hot coffee to take back to your own little balcony.

“WHITE POINTER” cottage was Deceivingly modern.we are family of of 5 and very lucky to have stayed in what we were told the 1st of many “to be renovated” cottages. EVERYTHING was new clean, modern, freshly painted, new appliances, new bathroom toilet, kitchen/oven, MODERN LINEN hallelujah! Great value for money, don’t judge the cover, very happy with stay, thank you.

Awesome place, I’m a regular to shark bay and this is by far the homeliest stay in town.friendliest staff I have encountered. Owner dean is a great bloke and happy to help far beyond what is required.

These cottages are a great pet-friendly place to stay if you're visiting shark bay. Clean, simple accomodation with facilities some may think are a bit Spartan, but includes everything you need for a family holiday.
We had problems, but the most endearing thing about these cottages is the new management. They bent over backwards to make sure our stay was up to our expectations, I cannot stress enough just how much we appreciated the effort. Loved it!
