My brother and I had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in a 2 bdrm unit. Very spacious clean rooms with a nice shaded veranda. Highly recommended.

Very clean campground. Showers and toilets are spotless. 65 dollar per night for unpowered campsite. BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED about the staff and service. The day we arrived we called them and asked for a unpowered campsite. They told us $65 per night. 5 minutes later we called them back to ask a question and suddenly they wanted $80 per night. We insisted to pay $65 as promised. When we arrived we had already the feeling they didn’t like what they do. The day after we washed our two blankets and the washing machine showed the signal “unbalanced”. Because of a sign which said the washing machine will balance it out by itself we waited 30 minutes but nothing happened and the time also didn’t go down. I went to the office and asked for help. The man behind the counter said he will come and have a look. By the time we walked back to the washing machine the machine stopped itself and both blankets were soaked in water because the washing machine skipped the spinning part of the wash cycle. I asked for assistance regarding the soaked blankets and received non from the man. He was just really rude and said: “that is not the way to wash blankets. ” I couldn’t believe it. I have washed these blankets several times before on different campgrounds and never had issues. Really disappointing and annoying especially he didn’t even offer any solution. He didn’t give us the $5 washing fee back or offered us to use the dryer free of charge. That’s really poor customer service especially for the money you pay! Sad ending.

Good neat caravan park with easily accessed sites. No grass, just fine white gravel. Bathrooms clean and tidy. Short walk to town but far enough away to be free of any noise. Camp kitchen is a steel garage style building with ample facilities, tables and chairs and a tv. They do like their signs here, so be prepared for 'death by a thousand signs'. Signs absolutely everywhere telling you what you can and must do and what not to do. We found it hilarious! Would stay again.

The ground is very fine hard gravel no grass which was OK, the ablution blocks were clean there were also a number of private cubicles with shower, toilet and sink which is great for those with disabilities or those with young children, excellent pool with a kiddie pool area BBQ area and huge campers indoor kitchen and lounge very impressive. The only areas that really let this place down was the laundry the machines were rusty and filthy and seems to be an electrical issue all the power supplies are taped up and when I went to management as there was no power to machines the power had actually tripped and there was lack of lighting around the park at night

We stayed here for 5 nights in one of the cabins. It was very disappointing when we arrived. All of the dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils were dirty and had to be washed. Even the drawers in the kitchen had to be wipe out crumbs and dirt etc.
The floors were dusty and needed sweeping also.
I do not think that management should leave it up the previous guests to wash everything properly as we all have very different standards, however there is a big difference between dirty/greasy and clean.
The towels we didn't use as they were like cardboard (thankfully we had some with us)
The barbecue area was good and location fine.

Don't go here if you have a large tent (anything over 5 metres) and need power. You are squashed in like sardines and can hear everything said on the next site. If you are disabled and don't declare it but have special needs and tell them of them, they get ignored. Also even leaving early due to a concussion won't get you a refund.

This is a no bells neat and tidy basic park. The grounds and amenities are clean and tidy. Sue, in the office, was helpful friendly and efficient. The camp kitchen is one of the best I have seen on this trip.real ovens and completely weatherproof structure! With a tv!

My family and I stayed for two nights at shark bay caravan park and were appalled. The owners are rude and big time smokers and drinkers. I did not feel safe for my kids to be wandering around the park by themselves and had to accompany them everywhere for two days. The campsites are patches of dirt and after two days all of our gear was covered in dust (and smelt of cigarette smoke). They advertise as being a clean and quiet accomodation yet we had kids kept up till midnight with the volume of other campers music and found the ammenities smelly and filthy. I will never come back to this caravan park or boring town following this experience.

Nice place. The camp kitchen was cool and had plenty of space in fridge and freezer and has a TV. The pool was good but needed a bit of shade. The sites are good just need screw in tent pegs or a hammer for them pegs. Clean wash rooms and nice facilities. The wind can bee pretty strong so make sure you tie down well and try to get some shelter. Would recommend. The lady is very friendly and knowledgeable about the town and things to do.

Great caravan park with all the amenities you need. The showers were great.i have stayed in 5 star hotels with worse showers. There are powered and unpowered sites and chalets.

Note: If you wish to pitch a tent, ask reception for tools! Free to use, of course. The ground will be hard as rock. You won't be able to hit the pegs in just with a hammar.

Very impressed with this place. The staff are great and make you really feel like a guest. Bathroom and kitchen facilities the best we’ve seen in ages. Dividers between sites offered extra privacy. Short walk to town. Would definitely stay again.

Nice park, no grass to be seen for tents but water is not in abundance. No natural springs anywhere.

Staff couldn’t smile even if you paid them too. Strongly came across as rude people who don’t like outsiders, they’re almost contradicting themselves by the fact that outsiders are the reason they’re getting a wage.

This is a good clean caravan park with very good facilities. The pool and bbq areas are very nice. The park has a very well equipped camp kitchen with a tv and lounge. Its great for watching the football. The park is popular with people with caravans as well as campervans & camper trailers. For those who like a fire pit there is one to enjoy. There is also a white sand pit with a swing for kids to play on.

Nice park attention to detail in all aspects of running a great caravan park were very obvious. Very clean friendly place to stay. Also slightly protected from the windy conditions, which we experienced at times in our 7 day stay. Loved it!
