Car claim lodged 30 March have tried to contact sgio several times for claim update, after several calls waiting at least an hour to get through am still no closer to receiving any service. Meanwhile car still sitting with towing service 2Waiting to be assessed. The worst company I have ever dealt with.

Recently had to change my insurance, dealt with a lady who was very polite and helpful. She changed my policy and sent me the details of the new policy quickly and effectively. Great experience. Will continue using this company.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Made a very simple claim in October '21, I was hit and had a transperth bus driver as a witness. The claim still has not been finalised. Everyone says they will follow up with you but never do. Everyone I talk to has no idea whats going on and requests the same documents over and over again. They have provided me with months of stress, because you get nowhere dealing with them. After my first interaction (and only claim I have ever made) I immediately wanted to switch car insurance providers.

Claimed for fencing last year had excess $500, other fence fell down a few days ago to my suprise excess is $1000, not impressed.

I have been with SGIO for a few years, someone attempted to break into my house, and damaged the front door, in July, got a police report, photos and Quote as requested, was advised by my Builder that the doors are unrepairable (needed a urgent solution for my family's safety,
advised over the phone to proceed), a building Inspector from the Insurance company arrives 4 months later, as the old doors are in the garage, and after ringing SGIO today 3rd of Dec, have been told the doors could have been repaired, totally disgusted with the outcome and financial offer, and will now leave SGIO, just warning other people if something similar happens to them, learn from my mistake, get confirmation in writing, but I couldn't wait,

This telephone system needs major overall. Being old fashion.put a human person on to answer the phone. Had enough of hearing the talking voice.
I have rang 3 times this week and after 20 mins of waiting.hung up. Will now wait for someone to contact me.

I have my car insurance and it is so cheap I insured it under Fire and theft
$26 per month

Very disappointed, issues have still not been resolved. Never contacted when have been asked to. Am now following up with the insurance company who's driver was at fault

Will be removing commercial policy once's resolved

Easy to deal with although found I had to make more calls to follow up on what was happening than I should have.
