Serpentine Camping Centre reviews
9 Very nice views, the nature is wonderful and the main hall and gym are nice to be in. While the dorms were quite cramped and looked like prison cells, the girls bathroom is where the real fault lies, please renovate them, they had bugs and the floor was pealing, nobody while I was there wanted to shower.
But overall it was a fun experience being there with my friends.
Very nice view and lovely grassed area surrounded by nature.the insides of the rooms were quite cramped, 4 bunk beds in a tiny room.there were only 4 of us in the room, but it was not enough.most of the rooms had lots of dirt and cobwebs in the roofs.they looked and felt like prison cells.the girls bathrooms had juicy floors and the showers were not very good, please renovate them.as we cleaned out our dorms we found a large redback spider under a mattress.a 5th roommate if you will.his name was gerald. 3/5 would maybe recommend.
Stayed here with my church, and we all had an awesome time. The buildings are by no means new, but there is a very wide range of activities and facilities (outdoor chess, a pool, a well stocked sports gymnasium, mini golf, a low ropes course, and their own presentation equipment to name a few). The staff were lovely and even got the hot water fixed in the form that my group stayed in (which was greatly appreciated!). We all had an awesome time, and are likely to come again next year!
Excellent venue, very well maintained and presented, with very friendly and efficient staff.
If you had to go to any camping site in Western Australia, you have to go to Serpentine Camping Centre. I went on school camp there and the food was AWESOME, thank you to the amazing cooks. Serpentine Camping Centre also had really clean dorms. The activities were also my favorite, it was all about stepping out of my comfort zone and I felt really proud of doing that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this campsite, if you want to go out in the countryside, you will absolutely love the nature there.
It was pretty good. The dorms had heaps of beds. The food was AMAZING and there were lots of fun activities to do, the pool was so nice and clean. The only bad thing was the shower pressure in some showers.
Would recommend
The close proximity of all the buildings, combined with the lovely space of the gym make up for the somewhat small room sizes. A good place for a family camp.
I went there at the start of 2018. Disgusting place. The beds had blood and piss on them, and the dorms were really small. And the bathrooms smelled horrible, and were super dirty. There were wasps and bees all over the pool, and the pool was full of dead insects.
Pretty nice place. Fun activities and the gym was up to date with solid equipment. Bedding situations are very cramped - I slept in a cabin with 4 bunk beds! Showers and bathrooms were horrible - some had no temperature control, others had leaks. However, the food more than made up for it. Burgers were a little dry, sure, but the sweet chilli chicken wraps are just the best! Would probably recommend.
