Sephora @ Karrinyup

Sephora Karrinyup is a beautiful store, lots of gorgeous products at your fingertips. Brands such as Huda Beauty, Rare Beauty, Fenty & Tarte. Dior, Givenchy & Benefit. I would highly recommend Sephora if your a make up connoisseur like myself, and like the finest things in life. Always such a vibe and the team are always so courteous & polite. Love you Sephora

Disappointingly foul customer service, I walked in the door at 5.10pm with one item I needed to get. When I asked the lady at the front door if they were closing, she said I still have 10 minutes until the store closes (even though the store closes at 5.30pm). So I walked in and went straight to the product I needed. The second I got to the right section a different employee approached me and told me they were closing now so I needed to go to the registers and leave ASAP. This was all at 5.10pm and by the time I got to my car it was 5.15pm. I think I’ll stick to MECCA knowing they close when they say they do and have such lovely customer service compared to here!

Cant get answer phone. No makeover carousel. On line booking not sucsessful other 2 stores? ¿?

Went to Sephora Karrinyup yesterday and had a horrible experience with their customer service. Stood in-front of two girls (both dark haired, one with lots of tattoos and facial piercings) leaning against a counter and having a conversation to ask a question for about a minute before they acknowledged me. When I asked my question their answer was short and rude and they seemed annoyed that I had interrupted them talking. Pretty terrible.

I've visited this store a few times now and the staff have always been super helpful and friendly. I've walked out with products that suit me and with knowledge on how best to use them. Highly recommend!

I went to SEPHORA today 08/Aug/23 around 2pm at Karrinyup & I was severely disappointed with the customer service by Tuscany (dark black hair, prominent winged eyeliner & pink claw clip).
I was politely asking for a recommendation/help on a product for my eyebrows & she responded in a rude manner.
She responded with “Well it depends on what you want” & i repeated what i wanted, just to define my eyebrows as they are tattooed and she proceeded to say “well it depends on how much hair is on your eyebrows” and kept repeating “well depends what you like” and was very really rude, no eye contact, rolled her eyes and mumbled “ok then” rolled her eyes to another coworker when i walked away and she made me feel very uncomfortable and not helpful.
Worst customer service i’ve interacted with.
Highly disappointed.

Only good thing about this experience was there was another girl who works there at SEPHORA (an African girl) who has amazing customer service and was really welcoming and helpful. I walked out with the product she recommended for me.

Love that we finally have a Sephora store in Perth, however; best sellers never seem to be restocked when I’m there and makes the trip to Karrinyup not worthwhile when I can just order online.

I visited the store on the 18th of June 2023 at around 2-3pm and was disgusted by the treatment there. Extremely understaffed, you could learn a thing or two from Mecca's incredible staffing and priority to providing excellent customer service. I stood there looking around for 30 minutes for a staff member to come over and help me with shade matching. Eventually, a beauty representative/sephora employee from 'Givenchy' (Gypsy looking round lady, mature looking) approached me telling me she will help me: except her 'help' was conditional - the foundation that I had to choose had to be from Givenchy and it was blatantly obvious her poor attempt at selling me the foundation. I told her I wasn't interested in Givenchy due to its performance and preferred a different foundation brand and just needed her help with shade matching - she very rudely scoffed and remarked 'then find someone else to help you' and pretended to play around with the lipsticks. A large number of customers were looking around for help and that lady was just standing there by the Givenchy counter trying to sell the makeup that obviously no one was interested in. I left feeling very offended and proceeded to shade match myself. For your staff to prioritise making a commission rather than providing authentic help to their customers is reflective of Sephora itself. Customer service is non-existent here and you are made to feel like a mere number. Will continue to shop online because in store customer treatment is despicable.

I visited there with my friend today, we had a great experience. Lasi was really nice, and very helpful. She answered all our queries very well. Overall it was a lovely experience️

When Sephora first opened at Karrinyup the customer service was quite good, but for the past 3 occasions I shopped there the service has been horrendous. To put it plainly the staff on the floor are indifferent and unhelpful. I've come to the conclusion that there is a toxic culture of indifference in this store, unlike the store in Perth CBD where the staff are enthusiastic, engaged and helpful. On one occasion I spoke to the manager at Karrinyup about the attitude of the staff, but yesterday I walked out after it became quite clear the staff simply couldn't be bothered. I certainly don't have to put up with this and will rather shop at the CBD store. I have noted the multitude of reviews of dissatisfied customers at this store, which clearly indicates that the poor customer service is not being addressed by the management.

Shockingly poor service both in store AND online. What is the point of LIVE CHAT when issues can’t be resolved instantly. In store team and online team must have no communication whatsoever as they all abide by different rules and policies. What a disgrace. Have never had any issues with MECCA. The company as a whole must do better.

I wrote a review a month ago describing how grubby Sephora in Karrinyup is. It’s still grubby. Staff, if you’ve got time to lean, you’ve got time to clean! I rarely see staff refilling stock and I’ve never seen a staff member wipe a display cabinet. The only spotless section is the Benefit Brow Bar.
Yesterday during the 25% off sale (Gold beauty pass members), my daughter wanted a particular foundation. Asked a staff member who tapped an iPad and said they were out of stock. Someone else said they’d seen it out the back and went and got it for us.
Products are great and the 25% off sale yesterday was brilliant, but it’s dirty and some of the staff are unhelpful.
It’s also clear no one reads these reviews because there are no responses from management.

Extremely poor customer service.

Walking around and around it’s a Wednesday and no staff. It’s not like it’s busy being a week day.

Asked the lady at the front counter who to her credit was polite.even she walked around saying sorry I don’t know where all the staff have gone. Literally just the girl at the counter.

She also couldn’t help us though with colour matching.

This meant we couldn’t buy the foundations my sister and I needed.

Pretty poor when the store has literally zero staff to assist.

She asked one of the ladies who works for one of the brands if she would help and she refused.

I can’t make it up, no staff to assist. We did have a laugh about it because it was so comical. People around but no staff to assist anyone. A counter girl standing at the counter not serving anyone but also not offering to help with in store service.

You go to Mecca even on a week day and you don’t have that issue at all. You might have to wait a bit, but you can see the store clearly has people to help. Sephora isn’t the only player in Karrinyup that sells makeup. Mecca is steps away from Sephora.

Why would I shop at Sephora with no help when I could do the same on the online store? I would much rather go to Mecca who will actually have staff who can help.

Clearly an ongoing issue judging by reviews saying customer service is lacking.

Went here to purchase some foundation from either the Dior or the Fenty brand. Took around 10-15 mins to even find someone to help me. After finally finding someone, I asked a lady to help me test the Dior and Fenty foundation on me as I didn’t know which shade I would be, she said she could only test the Dior one as she is assigned to that brand only but will get another lady to come help. Another 10-15 minutes later I am just standing there with my partner waiting with no one coming. So we both just decided to leave because we were both sick of waiting for no one to even come help. Very poor customer service here and disappointed as I wasn’t even able to purchase anything. Will not be returning here.

We visited karrinyup Shopping centre at Sephora but the store is kept in such poor condition with no price tags on most of the products. Poor customer service and sales representative at this store. Being Louis Vuitton parent company very poor standard kept at this store. No proper display and without price tags it is not easy to shop at this store.

I’d give zero stars, but I actually like a lot of the products that Sephora sell. Unfortunately, some staff really bring the place down and the customer service is pretty rough. “Lan” could really do with some training and a better attitude. I went to Mecca Karrinyup right after and the service there was incredible, friendly and professional.

Disappointed. Visited today and waited more than 10min for someone to help me. No one seemed eager to assist customers, perhaps not enough staff even though it wasn't an overly busy day.

Im relatively new towards makeup so I asked one of the workers for help. The girls are so lovely and are completely honest when it comes to products. I would only recommend hiring a few more staff members and having designated areas for them to have a better flow of the floor and so customers are easily helped.

Shoutout to Caitlin @karrinyup Sephora, she was the most bubbly kindest and funniest employee, when another customer pushed in front and gave my sister and I dirty looks she couldn’t have been more brighter honestly she deserves a raise, she made light of the situation and made me feel better about it
