Had a beautiful experience today with Megan for a pamper session I had planned well in advance to help me feel more grounded before going back to uni for the year. I had a 1.5hr massage, foot peel and buff, and jelly mask and left feeling so light and joyful. It is clear that Megan has incredible attention for details and has done lots in the studio, on the website, and on social media to make the space as inclusive for all people as possible. One of the things that made me super happy was seeing a 'fidget station', as an ADHDer this made me feel very at home. Would highly recommend to people of all ages, backgrounds, sizes, sexualities. Already thinking about when I can get back!

SCS's space and staff are incredibly welcoming. I also found their services to match and exceed my expectations. I have since received massages from other business as I have relocated, and each time I'm left thinking. I miss Megan: (It's criminal they only have a single salon, given the quality of their craft. So I look forward to SCS's impending world domination (it's the only logical choice once experiencing their skills) and a salon opening nearby in the future.

I had an amazing experience at Self Care Studio! As a nonbinary person, I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed and safe, and Talei did an amazing job with my facial and massage. I have been recommending it to all my friends and am planning to come back often:) I love that it's a private salon with just one customer at a time, and the massage table was so big and comfortable!

Amazing experience! I loved the inclusive language of the service. Was asked to remove top and bra or binder for massage. It's the small things that make a business truely inclusive and LGBTIQA+ friendly!

Also, Talei was very accommodating and understanding of my sensory issues, and suggested alternate products I could use to look after my skin (which has been neglected due to the fact that many skin care products have strong odour or weird texture) that were different textures. I want to look after myself now, they really are the royalty of self care!

The studio is wonderfully quiet and visually peaceful.

I was given concise, considered, passionate and patient advice on after-care, and was encouraged to contact Talei if I had any questions or feedback on the products I took home. I never felt rushed or like I was bothersome with my thousand questions.

Megan is such a superstar! She did such an amazing job on my eyebrows, they look fantastic! She is super friendly and easy to chat to. I felt so relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely be back to get a lash lift soon.

This is my happy place. Megan is so warm, friendly and professional. I so look forward to going in for treatments. Even during this lockdown she was able to do a skin consult on skype for me and drop products off. Counting down the days until I can get back for a facial!

As someone who experiences a bit of anxiety during beauty-related services, Self Care Studio was a dream. I was made to feel very comfortable. I'm not usually the kind of person who goes to a "beautician" so I had no idea what to expect when I attended Self Care Studio. I was beyond thrilled when I arrived. It's clean, beautifully decorated, quiet and inviting. The services are reasonably-priced, inclusive and gender-neutral. There is absolutely no judgement about any of your personal choices (i.e. If you don't shave or wax your legs, you don't need to feel awkward about getting just your eyebrows waxed), and there are fast and easy payment methods. Plus, definitely follow them on social media, you'll feel inspired to care for yourself every day!

I came in today for a facial and immediately knew I was in good hands - I cannot describe how relaxing this experience was. I had the oxygenating peel but there are others to choose from according to your skin concern and Megan is so professional and knowledgeable, you're in good hands to let her prescribe the perfect combination according to your skin. Such a gem and a beautiful, nurturing sole. I cannot wait for my next visit
