Seaspray beach holiday park reviews
49Checked in aircon not working it’s stinking hot and have to wait till morning to get it looked at. Not good enough mate. I’ll be asking to be moved OR keep the money for 1 nights accommodation nd give me a refund for the rest I’m going home.
Perfect for a seascape get away. Apartments are clean and well equiped with essentials for self catering. Holiday park facilities exceeded expectations and location is world class. Also, cafe is small wonder with excellent service and superb menu.
Good size caravan sites. All have private ensuite which is nice. Really well looked after caravan park. Lots of grass. Nice walk down to the beach.
Ok I'd love to return when the windy season subsides.
Great views and staff I would stay there permanently if I wasn't a froggy in search of new Lily's and Oasis'
Fantastic location, very friendly staff, we have a caravan and every site has its own on suite, and cafe out the front is amazing will definitely be staying again
Booked an apartment.it was really big.very nice.great views.unusual expectation that you do your own dishes? I mean I always do.but never seen a notice before saying to do them or you could get charged. (Having cleaned motels and hotels before.) But yes.very nice accommodation.
Stayed for one night over the long weekend, terry was so lovely, the room was nice with a beautiful view, throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there in the future, highly recommend if visiting dongara
Great place to stay, food was awesome at the cafe. Staff could be more accommodating for guests who aren't of retirement age
The parking of vans and ensuite was very hickeldy pickaldy, ensuites doors on the otherside of the building from the vans? But the amenities were great. Pool amazing, beach bar (take your own) to watch the sunset was a memory made that we will remember as a family forever. Once over the ensuite issue, we loved it.
Fantastic, clean apartment and our balcony view is right in front of the beach. Really lovely place and would definitely come back for a longer stay. Nice cafe there too with very friendly staff and does get busy. Dongara is really worth holidaying!
We stayed at a family apartment.
Pros:
The rooms had everything necessary.
There was a swimming pool with different depth levels (good for children with different swimming skill levels).
Location - just a few metres away from the sea.
Cons:
No shade above the swimming pool.
Rooms were not clean. There was a layer of dust on bedside tables in the bedroom. Dirty floors. Grimy kitchen (I'm attaching a photo of the kitchen window).
Location - car is needed to get to the restaurants and shops.
Nice place, all caravan sites have en suite's $60 per night. Walk to the beach and site covered in grass.
Budget accomodation is really budget. Paid the most per night out of all the places we stayed for a week and had the least amount of room couldn’t even fit our bags inside. Bed was very uncomfortable. Was really stuffy didn’t want to put the ac on as it looked like it would make a lot of noise. The cabin also needed a lot of maintenance. Doors and windows didn’t seal. Shower head leaked and the list goes on.
Probably good for one person for a night.
Seaspray was a great place to stay a couple of nights, as it's got that amazing location, location, location. The beautiful Seaspray beach a few metres away and behind the park is bushland & the Irwin River with a lovely circuit walking track, which extends up as far as Port Denison 2.5 kms away for those interested
We stayed in one of the 1st floor apartments overlooking the beach. Our apartment was OK but starting to show a fair bit of wear & tear, which needs attention - broken soap holder in shower, cupboard doors falling apart & outside rust (due to salt water from seaspray). Swallows nesting on balconies leave a mess, and the outside stairways need a good gurney to smarten them up.
Room ammenities were all good & sufficient cooking facilities.
They've got a great sundowners firepit aeea on the beach too - magic sunsets
Reception staff outstanding & friendly.
Overall we loved the area, so forgave Seaspray's shortfalls.
An oldie but a Goldie. The gravel sites are hard on the feet but the scenery was nice.
A little bit crowded and tight for our van.
Bye️.
Most expensive caravan park since we started our adventure 6 weeks ago. Only site left complete with en-suite. No hot water available in en-suite. Reported on checkout to be told no hot water in any of them last night and the plumber here now. Offer of shower in amenities but no offer of en-suite refund. Substancial profit overnight from en-suite s. Would of been happy to pay for site but not ensuite.
The caravan park has new management and what a difference it has made
The new managers are great, greeted us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
They lit the fire by the beach bar and we sat and watched the sunset which was beautiful
Breakfast at the little cafe on-site was lovely, generous portions, good coffee
Highly recommend it.
We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.
Good facilities available each van has their own ensuite, communal kitchen Bbq etc.great location.
Always nice to stay here. Great camping bays and very clean. Also well situated next to the beach and near town.
Great accommodation. Great aircon. Great shower. Great balcony, kitchen facilities and the pool area was brilliant. Can't recommend more
