Long term customer, used to have decent fish, last few times purchased the fish stink and have been sitting in the shop for weeks.

How is this even legal, major health hazard selling almost rotten fish. Maybe their business 2 business sales are better but the retail shop gets the scraps to sell off.

Would be careful buying here if you value your health.

I go out of my way to visit Sealanes for fresh seafood. Staff are helpful and friendly and quality is excellent. They have fish and chips and other hot food available as well with batters light and portions large. There's free parking down this side of Fremantle as well and you can sit across the road in your car, at the park or in the beach to eat if the limited tables are taken. I'm a convert from that other competitor.disappointed I only made the effort to stop in a couple of years ago but consider me loyal now.

Lost faith in them last week when i went to buy some salmon, some one had a bad day. Was driving past today and thought i would pop in and have another go, was informed again that i should come back early tomorrow morning. (For me it is a 200km round trip, 3×200=600km×todays diesel price is a lot to pay for 8 pieces of fish). The young lady that served me spoke to the man filleting the fish out the back and explained the situation to him, he stopped doing what he was at, pulled a salmon out of the cool room and prepped it for my order. Hat off and long live customer service, it is getting hard to find now a days. Thanks again for the great service.

Usually wait no more than 15 but 40 mins wait on Sat eve is not acceptable why are individual portions being cooked if you know you're this busy why don't you batch cook? Plus side fish was good chips a bit on soggy side.

Worst chips I've had In years, waited 15 minutes and was disappointed to find them undercooked, soggy and tasting like freezer water. Gave me a stomach ache. No fish on the menu that suited my dietary limitations. No suitable gluten free or allergy aware practices in place. Heard the fish is decent but was disappointed by the rest.

Well I never thought I'd see the day I give 5 stars. Best fish and chips I have had since owning our own takeaway that we sold in 2011. Oil was not burnt, the batter was light and fluffy, portion size was very generous and it was fresh fresh fresh. We had the Spanish Mackerel with a side salt and pepper squid!

Rude when telling me the menu had changed for good friday only & terrible customer service!
Shocked I was told on good friday that they would not leave my salad in the fridge while having to wait a long period for a platter. I actually had to argue my point that my salad should remain in the fridge on a +30 degree day with a 30min wait. Remember to the young lady who served me, when a customer is paying $50 at your premise for one, the customer is always right! That's number one in customer service and if I want my salad in the fridge while I wait so it's not hot and soggy then that shouldn't be an issue!

Overall was really good but $18 for one piece of snapper and it wasn't that big of a serving I'd give just 2x.

Got prawns on Saturday got back home I couldn’t shell them as the shells were all soft what a waste of money we couldn’t eat them they had been frozen & tasted disgusting definitely won’t be back, coles has better quality

Bit of shame, expecting something special but a long wait for overpriced standard seafood. Staff need to improve their customer service, disinterested and bored. Wouldn't recommend

The Best fish and chips we have ever had. Good price. Fish was cooked to perfection. The chips had a delectable crunchy outside with a soft centre. We will be back

Paid extra for snapper but tasted far stronger than usual which was disappointing. Generous serves.

Fresh seafood, friendly service fair price, will definitely be back.

Guy with the hat backwards and compass tattoo was so welcoming and talked to the kids
Wish they had Morton bay bugs but they didn’t however the quality prawns made up for it

This is a great place for the freshest fish in Fremantle with a wide selection and variety whether you want whole or filleted fish and is right across the road from the South Beach

Staff are always friendly and know there fish and recommendations on how to cook the varieties available

The Fish N Chip cafe attached to the shop is where you will find the best cooked fresh fish N chips in Fremantle with good sized portions and prices in nicely packaged boxes.

Highly recommended.

Ordered the share platter. It was very good. So different to regular FnC. And good size portion for the price. We will be back.

Stunning fresh fish and Seafood to die for always hit there just before Christmas they should be proud off themselves

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The kids meals were huge with lovely fresh white non fishy, fish. I requested grilled squid which was tender and perfectly cooked. Chips were crunchy and a large portion. I look forward to returning.

Stopped in to have some fish and chips and was very disappointed. Bland overcooked fish and small portions. No comment on the seafood as I didn't buy any.

Fantastic fresh seafood always available from the market.
Also, they serve best fish and chips shop in Perth!
