Caravan park is great.
What I do not love is when plans change and we have to cancel our stay more than 6 months in advance and do not receive a refund! We were told we would get a refund, even gave card details over the phone to receive it. After multiple attempts to get my refund, the owner now will not answer my phone calls, emails or text messages.

*Update* Consumer affairs have tried to liaise with the park owners on our behalf and have had no luck. Now having to process our refund through the court system.

It has been months now since we requested a refund after having to cancel our stay in Jan / Feb 2024 and STILL NO REFUND! We have been promised and assured several times our money will be refunded and still NOTHING! Always has excuses as to why it hasn't been done. We are beyond disappointed and definitely do not recommend booking here unless you're willing to have to fight for your money back. Such a shame as we had planned to make Seabird a regular family vacation spot. You have ruined this for us. We were assured that any cancellation with reasonable notice would be refunded, so you are holding our money for what reason?

As the saying goes, it was such a great holiday village that I bought a park home there!
It's not really a caravan park though. It is a holiday village that mainly has park homes for permanent use or hire.
There are also an array of powered sites for caravans (but they tend to be the minority).

The advantages of this little 'slice of heaven' are quite overwhelming-
- it's only about 1 hours' drive from the city
- you can get down here with the family after work on a Friday, and still watch the sunset from the Park that evening
- it is very family-friendly -people gather along the park overlooking the sea most evenings
- the park-homes are well-fitted out (and bring back memories of camping all those years ago, but with a greater level of comfort and safety)
- the place is beautifully looked after
- it is right next door to the local pub (for ease of access, but without any unwelcome noise or disturbance)
-it has its own swimming pool (which looks across to the ocean)
- there are pathways for walkers and boats to access the beach below the holiday village
- a great spot for people who like to fish, beach- walkers, relaxation, quiet reading, recharging the 'batteries ', refreshing swims, etc.
- nice meals are available at the local pub and the local cafe
- it also has its own kiosk (which is open during the busy times).

Seabird is a gorgeous little hamlet. Once you've watched the sunset over a meal, or a drink at the holiday village park and seen the twinkling lights from a nearby sandhill, I'm sure you will agree!
