17Great range of take aways, drive thru isnt a service drive thru, you will need to exit your car and enter the store
Absolute ripoff $12.50 a pint, never see locals there just interested in passing traffic, used to be great 20 years ago but have rich outsiders who don’t care about local pub culture, such a shame
The salt and pepper squid had so much pepper in it I couldn't eat it. I complained and was informed the cook never adds extra pepper indicating it's ordered in frozen and just reheated. My partner ordered medium/well done porterhouse with mushroom sauce after checking with staff that there would be no spice as he had recently undergone throat radiation. The sauce was full of pepper. When he complained they exchanged the steak but the second one was served with dry mushrooms on top, no sauce at all and was rare.
Lovely food, good size servings.
Clean and neat and friendly service.
Love the new chicken burger flavour combo.
Went for lunch yesterday served by a lovely lady who had just started there sat down no ambience some music would have been nice
when waiting for food the chef came out yelling and slamming stuff around and spoke to the staff inappropriately all the time we could hear this going on arrival of our food we found it very average for revamped venue you would think that they would be doing all they can to get customers into such a lovely place there outdoor are is great id give them a 5 star but after the issue in the bar only a 2 star for now hopefully they improve
Pleasantly surprised that there was a vegan burger on the menu, that is not made with one of those awful boring veggie patties. They used a meat alternative pattie so thumbs to for that! They were even thoughtful enough to mention that the fryer they cook chips in is used to cook meat foods as well, so they definitely earned a star just for that.
Would recommend to anyone passing through town, especially if vegetarian/vegan.
Note: the burger was the only vegan option.
Stopped in the other day for a pint and ordered a Scott's burger. The beer was good but the burger was terrible. The meat was dry, the bun was stale and salad average.
Amazing service! The chef here has a whole lotta passion and the food was a taste sensation! Thank you Scott! Ps. The fish and chips serve = twice a standard pub, with yummy salad.
Lovely atmosphere, very quiet even on a Saturday night which meant fast and personalised service. The food was tasty and a good range of beers. We had chicken satay and rice, and the beef burger (special).
Very clean and tidy the meal was excellent the staff were friendly and helpful I absolutely recommended a visit next time I'm in bridgetown I will definitely call in for a meal and a beer or two.
Neat and clean with worthy beer garden. Had trouble with food for 35. Pub quality and some dishes a bit average.
Only open Thursday', Friday and saturday nights for great hospitality and tasty meals by a MasterCard chef. Happy hour until 7pm which means /1/2 price on tap beers.
Great place without the riff raff.
Enjoy
The service here was amazing, the woman running the bar was so friendly and happy, the venue itself was so clean and tidy, the decor is super fresh and modern. This place was beautiful and the food was absolutely amazing will definitely be going back. This tavern is a credit to Bridgetowns food and hospitality industry
Awesome value, excellent food. Middle of winter and the service is spot on. The fire is rising and the food filling and tasty. Well worth the visit!
This place is generally empty, now I know why. In the deserted restaurant we ordered 4 dinners and asked if one could be served with gluten-free chips or jacket potato, "No" was the answer. We left immediately. Why employ people who don't care about your business?
We went in for lunch on the last day of staying 4 nights in bridge town, we were sorry we did not try it sooner, we loved the Chilli Calamari (big serve) and side of chips. It was plenty for 3 of us. The waitress was lovely and prompt but way overworked as she was the only person serving behind the bar and restaurant. We would definaley recommend eating here as a top pick for the town.
