Scarvaci's IGA

Every time I go to Scarvacci's, I'm struck by the feeling "I've come home". Staff are helpful, friendly and real.and don't get me started about their hot roast beef, pork, or lamb rolls! Unbelievable service, and you can pretty much find anything you need.check out their meat department!

I have been to this shop few times.
The products are good and fresh. But last time there was a young lady at the salumi no friendly at all. First of all not a smile or a nice word, secondly, I asked for a ham unsmoked in offer and she gave me another one, which is fine but when I go back to said that there was a mistake she was annoyed and she rolled her eyes. So after I said that it was not my fault and she after said: no, no I didn’t say anything! When she finished again her face was not friendly and rolled again her eyes.
I really believe that they need to check and choose better their employees. Maybe it is not the right job for them if they don’t like work with people.
The young guy at the counter was nice.

I Love Scarvaci's! They are one of the best European Stores, south of the river and stock some of my favorite foods. Also a great community and family feeling when shopping here.

Best part about this place is that the customer service feels natural instead of the fake personalities that most workers seem to have.

Always friendly staff, great hidden gem of a continental store. A local IGA with an Italian butcher and cold meats counter. And they actually slice the prosciutto properly, a rarity!

Was in the area and looking for lunch options, the deli food here is honest and very tasty, staff friendly and helpful, but the store itself is a little dated and could do with a refit.

I love shopping at Scarvaci’s coz it’s convenient & homely.

People are always there happy greeting the customers & each other.

Price are reasonable & their specials are amazing produces with choices to spoil your loved ones.

Bought rotten meat for discount maggots were in there so I ate the green maggot was very exquisite.

Highly recommend Scarvaci’s! The staff are extremely friendly and very happy to help. The staff also work hard and will get you through the checkout quick. It has a lot of range in traditional European foods which is lovely, some childhood favourites here, for all to enjoy or try. The flower range is lovely and fresh. My kids enjoy the cut up fruit plates they do. The fresh fruit and veg is lovely and lasts. They have an amazing range of fresh meats. They also have a delicatessen with a wide range of items, some that can be freshly sliced. I highly enjoy visiting and can find what I need any time. They offer home delivery. The operating hours are very friendly which suits me great as I’m often forgetting things:)

What I like about this place is that the staff feel "real", as in they don't fake an over-the-top happy personality. It feels like a naturally friendly place.

IGA is just IGA I really dont know what else to say, IGA dont know to say, kinda rhymes dont you think?

Good range of antipasti selection, but the staff member who sliced the prosciutto had no idea what to do. The fat wasn't trimmed and the slices were stuck on each other and it was impossible to get them individually. Maybe a little training?

Good range of Italian products that normally you can't find in bigger supermarkets, nice as treats or to eat something different.

Great little IGA hidden next to an amazing bottleshop. Good range of produce with most brands available. Meat selection is fairly good and well priced, fruit and vegetables are always fresh and also well priced as are the frozen foods. Store is clean, well stocked and staff are friendly and professional. It can be a little bit tricky to find parking as the bottleshop, fish and chip shop and other stores can get very busy at certain times.

This shop has excellent service. The staffare friendly and quick to assist. The fresh produce is presented we'll and encouraging to buy.

Deli is exceptional here but food on the shelf is a bit over priced. The best sandwiches ever tho!

Their Deli has a great range of small-goods, cheese and olives and other party plater essentials. Scarvaci's has the usual range supermarket items plus some not found everywhere else.

Went in to buy advertised weekend meat special and told they knew nothing about it. Full page ad in Friday West not even acknowledged.
