Scarborough Beach Surf School Perth

I had two surf sessions when I was on holiday in Scarborough and I can highly recommend Scarborough Beach Surf School. The teams are not too big and the instructors are really good at making people feel safe in the water and giving advice on how to improve their technique. I also particularly like the length of each session, as there is time to practice one's technique. I would love to take more hours here, but unfortunately had to go home. Thanks to Craig and team for a great few days on the water

This is the best surf school I’ve ever attended! The instructors paid attention to details and gave me very good pointers that greatly improved my skills. We all had turns with the instructor helping us choosing the right wave and getting a boost to make it easier to catch the wave. The location is also lovely, the waves were just the right size, would definitely recommend visiting them and would love to go again!
Wetsuit and surfboard included in price, a rashguard on top to identify skill level.

Came traveling to Australia and booked 5x 2 hour lessons with Scarborough beach surf school.
The lessons from Craig and his team were amazing and gave me enough confidence to buy a board and now go on the water on my own.

Scarborough beach surf school were easy to find and very welcoming.
Even cheaper than his competitors.
Couldn't reccomend enough.

Great surf School! Me and my friend bought to surf lessons. The first day we learnt how to get up on the board and we spend almost all the time in the water so it’s really leaning by doing. The next day we went straight into the water and our coach really help us to go on the good waves! It was so much fun. Thank you so much for this great experience Craig and the team. Such an Amazing family run surf school. Craig and all the crew provided my son Bradley with such a profound and fun surf lesson every single time. I started my surfing lessons in Bali and I didn’t think I would find another surf school that I enjoyed and was just as cool. Craig and the team have surpassed my expectations and are just as good if not better than my experiences in Bali. I am now so much more confident in the surf thanks to all the instructors and their expertise and making the lessons fun every single time. I might now try some waves in Esperance where I am travelling to next. Thanks guys, I will be back.

Craig and the team are very nice, patient and knowledgable people and made the learning very fun! Also an organised setup with regards to both boards and wetsuits, it really helped me to progress at my own pace! If I could give 6 stars, I would. Great coaches and crew, fun experience and safe, they were always looking for the best way to catch a wave, practice the skills as much as we could and above all to keep everybody safe and aware of the risks when waves bigger that we could handle appear. Been already 4 times with them and no doubt I'll repeat, really really great crew

Brilliant! So well organised and a super friendly welcome. Instructors were very kind, patient and knowledgeable, helping the whole group all the time. Comfy wetsuits. First day of a three day course and really loving it.

Fantastic place to learn how to surf! We did 5 consecutive days of surfing under the watchful eye of the coaches and finished feeling really confident about our ability.

Fantastic surf school! My partner and I had a great surf lesson with Zach - great teacher, ironed out some bad habits and got us up on plenty of waves despite the weather conditions. Adapted to different levels of ability and was really encouraging. Keith the manager was really responsive and helpful with all questions and queries. Would definitely go again and recommend to everyone!

I've booked a "give it a go" session for an hour and half. It was amazing, the teacher explains really well, which gives us enough confidence to stand up on the board quite quickly. I've never surfed before but I'll definitely keep up with it! Next step, I'll book the level 1 lesson.

Absolutely an awesome time here. Started with zero experience, but had a blast getting out and up on some beautiful water (10/10 location goes without saying). The boards are brilliant for learning on, and Keith will get the best size for you to get started. Top it off with overall great instruction by some of the friendliest people you'll find.

We had a great time surfing for the first time. The instructors were encouraging and gave great advice to help us learn. Would definitely recommend!

Great surf school in every way! The lessons given by Keith et al.are really cool and helpful, and the boards sold are cheap and yet very good for any level. They paddle very well, catch a lot of waves and have a really good manoeuvrability (especially the 6'6). Besides Keith provides a lot of adivces for learnning to surf around, and is highly available. I recommend this surf school!

Had my first surf lesson in 10 years a week ago and had such a fun time! Instructors super friendly and helpful which made the experience for me as a beginner.

I just had a level 1 surf class this morning, and what a blast it was! Keith and his team are super nice and keen to understand your level and needs. As someone who already surfed in the past in Europe, I was looking to get some good advice and local knowledge about the surf here. I didn't expect to have such a nice experience with Keith, who will be with you in the water, sharing with the small group of learners all his tips and knowledge after surfing here for so many years. Wet suits and boards were brand new as well, very good material.
If you're looking for a Surf School to begin this sport, or to improve your level, don't look elsewhere, Scarborough Beach Surf School is the one you need.
I will book some more courses with them again.
