Sayers Sister reviews
78 Went there for breakfast and got the batch brew coffee with the beef brisket, which was very tasty.
Coffee lovers should be mindful they do not accept custom orders. Batch brew was watery.
The old school decor also left much to be desired. Cushions on seats felt grimey, while the tabletops felt sticky. Perhaps they just had too many patrons, but I wasn’t sure I felt good about it.
Service was also quite a mess. I could see seats being given haphazardly. They rejected giving us seats, but gave those same seats to another group of the same size? Later, they put a party of 4 at the bar top, but gave a pair the table? It was also impossible to get anyone’s attention to fix anything.
Overall, a pricey place, bad service, bad layout and ambience, but good beef brisket.
Won’t say I’d go back again though.
I had the fried chicken croffle and omg it was absolutely amazing I swapped the jalapeno sauce for red pepper relish. Everything was delicious together! So glad I ordered that. My partner got poached eggs with bacon and hash browns and he thought it was a good portion and everything was perfect. Best meal I've had in Perth yet. I wish I got photos!
If you are looking for a slightly different spin on breakfast, then this is the place to go! They have original dishes without going over the top or taking it out of the breakfast space. I highly recommend the leek croquettes if you are a fan of leeks. High quality, large serves at reasonable prices (most of the dishes I looked at were $24).
Cannot fault the service and atmosphere either.
The little jars of lollies, gum and mints were very cute.
A tad cold on a wet winter’s day but I imagine the staff would be sweating bullets if it were kept any warmer so just bring a jumper if it’s a cold day.
A great cafe on the edge of Hyde Park. With lots of indoor and outdoor seating, Sayers Sister is the ideal spot to grab a coffee, a brownie, and slow down a little.
Added a few more pics. Great food. Highly recommended.
It was our favourite brekkie in Perth.
Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious and service was fast.
Highly recommended.
Really nice and cosy restaurant.the menu is good value for money.the staff is really nice and friendly.
Highly recommend to this restaurant!
I ordered photo rosti which is recommend by the staff Ray, and it’s so delicious. Besides I ordered a hot chocolate and there have a cat on top, so cute and surprise because I am a cat lover.
Definitely will come back again!
Excellent experience, and big thanks to Ray and his crew
Wow! What a breakfast! Service was exceptional, breakfast was delicious and presented so beautifully. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu
Cosy, quirky environment. Creative menu. Delicious food and staff that are super friendly and take the time to explain the menu to you!
Staff recommended the chicken croffle and it was to die for! Im still dreaming of the strawberry cheesecake and will definitely be back!
We were a family of 18 who were accommodated at short notice. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb especially Jasmin who looked after us. Very friendly in welcoming us and making sure everything was ok throughout our meal. Highly recommend Sayer Sisters and thank you Jasmin. Also a special mention to all the staff who served us. Thank you
I had a eggs Benedict and it tasted great but it would be good if there was a choice to have it with ham. My partner had burger but the beef was a bit dry. Their coffee and hot chocholate is good too.
By far the best brekky in Perth. And the coffee is on point! Love it here, love the croquettes too!
Deep fried potatoes, beef with chilli mayonnaise sauce was impressive. And chocolate coconut water was refreshing, especially drinking at such hot weather!
Got a takeaway and while the coffee was okay, the muffin was absolutely terrible - dry, overbaked, completely lacking texture and flavour. I’m sure their hot meals are great but this was a disappointing experience
10/10 food and service. Food was incredible- great produce (you can really taste the difference) and so many vegetarian options! Some of the best food we'v3 had in Perth
An iconic not-to-miss cafe in Perth.
They are always buzzing so plan ahead! Just a block from Hyde Park for a morning date or brunch. We have been several times. Always a treat. Good coffee - great food - lovely atmosphere.
Ps. And I love the new murals. Aargh.
Hands down one of the best experiences ever. Loved the Rosti. The food was balanced; not overly seasoned, which allowed the natural potato taste to come through, and that was yummy. The beef brisket was also very balanced and soft, and went well with those crispy potatoes. I still wonder how they did those crispy potatoes. So good with the beef brisket!
It was raining out but it was warm inside. The ambience was really comfy. It was full on a Tuesday morning but it didn’t feel over crowded. Would visit again when I go back to Perth!
Busy café on the weekends.
Food is normal, service is a bit average try to seat us outside in a really cold morning.
Friendly staff, strong black coffee and yummy food. Had the bacon and egg tart + Nutella banana pie.
The food was fantastic, had a table cleared for us straight away. Very cool, vintage vibe to the place and left absolutely stuffed.
