Santorini Fish and Chips

Got the vegan fish + salad. A very solid 4.5. We’ve been missing nuthin fyshy since it closed down and think theirs is the best and highest standard to follow. Anyway, the fish’s batter and chips here were really crunchy and not too oily or over fried. As far as the vegan fish texture goes, it isn’t as “rubbery/chewy” like some mock meats (which is a good thing) and it’s kind of flakey and kind of on the stringy side in texture, though you can tell it’s mock meat - I thought it wasn’t bad, it’s definitely one of the better vegan fishes I’ve had. I don’t think I’ve ever had this vegan fish anywhere else before. The coleslaw was crispy, fresh and right amount of flavouring. Good range of salts and condiments like apple cider vinegar, chicken salt, paprika salt and chilli salt. I assumed it’d come with a tartare / slice of lemon, but it didn’t, I should’ve checked. Happy to have found a good vegetarian fish and chip option to satisfy fish and chip cravings!

The single serve of chips is ridiculous for $4 it was laughable the amount of chips in there. I have been to hundreds of fish n chips restaurants and this was by far the least amount of chips. It seems to be a regular complaint with this store on the serving size of chips. To top it off the quality was not even that great. Sorry to say I won't be back. The staff were friendly though.

Ordered 3 snapper, 1 shark, squid and chips absolutely disgusting $74.00 worth
We always bought fish and chips from their, didn’t have any issue?
Demanded money back for the piece a shark which was not worth $16.50 handed back the shark!
The man or owner was very rude and abrupt when questioned about it
Will not be going back their again and will be letting family and friends about the issue not to purchase fish and chips from that shop

Absolutely amazing! The customer service is phenomenal Uber messed up my order and the person I spoke with (I do apologise I forgot your name) went above and beyond to help sort my order out. Can not thank you enough, first time ordering and definitely will not be my last?

I EAT Santorini Fish & Chips quite often. Therefore, I happily choose to endorse my local and hope you give them a try also!

Ring in orders as well as Uber eats or rock up. Cash or card.

Family meal deals or just a quick 'fish n chips' fix for a busy bloke (knocked back with a cold brew)

To me? SIMPLY PUT: These guys have got it right.

Healthy options avail - I like to sometimes enjoy the fresh Greek salad & fish. (u can ask 4 grilled).

I sometimes treat myself to some yummy chippies!

I super really enjoy my value packed delicious meals regularly. Love the ways the succulent moist, juicy, delicious NATURAL flavours of my fish come together.

I really appreciate the effort the team puts forward to serve great food without overpowering oily experiences.

Other stores have heavy batter, or recycle their cooking oils to death.

Santorini also serves up in Forrestfield, and I think another place, too.

In my chats across the counter with "Chief, " I've learnt a bit about the background of the Santorini family business.

IMHO They're an experienced, well-connected, upstanding family business that knows best how to cook up fresh, yummy feasts!

I personally prefer my fish kinda "med-rare/ just done" (that's steak talk, but you get my pint, right?) SO. I ask for my fish, "lightly battered, please. " Which always comes out just right for me.

I would highly recommend you chuck a couple of bucks extra in, try the more upmarket fish as well. YOU will be satisfied and I believe, happy with the service and the food.

A simple open front - with a few tables and chairs, a drinks fridge, and a crazy array of differing salts and vinegar blends to add to taste on your own, too.

Food was nice and decently priced, ordered over the phone; it was quick and easy. Overall good experience will definitely be back.

Not all items delivered, food cold, no indication it had arrived certainly items that were delivered did NOT reflect the amount

First time buying fish and chips here, definitely not disappointed. They were busy but I got my order pretty quick. The chips were crisp and hot accompanied by a large battered piece of flaky fish. Service was prompt and friendly. I've eaten a lot of fish and chips and this evening from Santorini was excellent, definitely five stars all the way. I'll be back.
PS: try the deep fried Oreo's (yumm)

Portion sizes literally cut in half and chips were overdone to the point where I couldn’t finish them. I used to come here all the time but unfortunately will be looking elsewhere now

Uber order. Before you come at me, people have their reasons for home delivery. My child’s entire order was missing. I called them and they said, nothing they can do. Speak to Uber.

Then Take some responsibility! If you can’t manage Uber orders, don’t do
Them! Don’t leave people without their meals and then say “sorry nothing we can do” even after admitting that you messed up our order. The chips were completely over cooked and hard (have photos). Another
Example of a business with no quality control. “Who cares, they’ll be right”. If you stuff up an order, overcook your food, take
Responsibility. Send the chips back and cook new ones. Teach your staff. Put some processes in place. Learn from your mistakes. Don’t put it back to the customer to have to experience your mistakes at OUR own costs. I hate leaving negative reviews. I really do. But as a business owner myself, I don’t understand how other business’s can get away with this attitude? If we stuff up, we are straight back out there (at our own cost and time) fixing it up, showing our customers that we made a mistake, but they can count on us to fix it up.

Fish and chips are a dime a dozen. Move on to the next. Cost of living is hard enough for families without having to deal with rubbish and missing food when we decide to splurge (and a careless attitude!)

I love fish and chips cooked properly and don’t mind paying for quality but I am sorry to say I was disappointed ️ both with delivery and picking up … below average quality was so much hoping for better- not feeling it to go back or tasting it

We absolutely loved our fish and chips tonight! We had a huge order for 10 people with many dietary requirements and everything was beyond perfect! Very impressive salt and vinegar collections too!

Food was good, however so i am currently unpleased with one of the workers making my food. I think his name was brian or bruce? I saw him walk into the back with a handful of our chips and once he came back they were all gone- i’m guessing down his stomach. The youth these days are making this world a horrible place. Quite unhappy to say the least.

Bryce is the nicest, most helpful fish and chips employee I've ever met in my life. He helped the best thing on the menu and it was absolutely delicious. This boy needs a pay rise!

Been avoiding this place for a couple weeks now due to my last experience.
Ordered 2 serves of chips at $6.
I said "this package is light".
They said, "that's two scoops", I said "this is smaller than every other time I've come here for a year".
The manager I presume said "this is missing maybe 10 chips".
Getting very cross at me when I asked for the chips I paid for.
Every other time I was happy to come here and they are the best in the area, but you pay extra for small servings of literally the cheapest item. Just do better. I want to come back.

I ordered two of the Fish & Chips from Santorini and they were superb! I haven't been here for years as I didn't like it the last time I went but they are so good now. It's really clean and well organised in there as well. Thanks for a really enjoyable meal, guys. We'll be back!

Tried our local for the first time and was impressed by the generosity and quality of the serving. Service was friendly and efficient and the store was clean and well presented. Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately they got the order wrong it was overcooked and very oily threw most of it away they need more experienced staff which I noticed they had advertised on their window

Amazing fish and chips. Regularly come here. The snapper falls apart in your mouth and the coating is crunchy. Chips are always great too. Highly recommend
