Sankalp Indian Restaurant reviews
56 Excellent and authentic south India food
A Must visit place if you are craving for dosas and all
I and my husband came in Sankalp restaurant for South Indian dish, We ordered Dosa here and It was damn delicious, recommend to all, taste…you’ll definitely loved it!
Such great food, service and atmosphere! If you’re ever craving Indian food, definitely add this place to your list.
Came here for my 15th anniversary and must say wasn't disappointed. Food was suitable for our pallette and they have good variety of veg dishes as well.
Bad experience, very salty cheese masala dosa - the cook probably did not take into account extra salt present in cheese while adding it to dosa, supported by below average service that forgot to serve one of our drinks. Overly priced for the quality of food and service they offer.
We ordered chilli naan today, the making was too good and taste was also very nyc. When we eat the naan we just feel like we were eat in India. The naan maker have such a true ability for making tasty Indian food. HATS OF THE CHEF
Order online food today but got very small quantity of food. The take away container are half and they charged full price. I am not satisfied the service they provide if they charged full provide the proper food. Not cheat the customer.
What a ripoff for a $25 goan fish curry that was cooked from frozen basa fish. The meat was marshy and tasteless. Do Not Order This Dish, else you will be greatly disappointed.
Sankalp used to be our go to restaurant, but tonight’s service and dinner was a disappointment. We ordered masala dosa, black pepper chicken curry, dahi puri and fries for my toddler.and it took them over an hour to get the masala dosa and chicken. After waiting that long the dosa was cold and tasted weird. Even the dahi puri was scattered across the plate and was soggy just as we got it.
Also, whats the use of ringing the service bell if no one answers! You guys literally glanced towards us but still decided to walk away. Asked for a high chair while booking, came to the restaurant and again asked for it multiple times. But the dude who served us paid no heed and had to ask for it for the 4th time to someone else.
Highly disappointed!
The food took 45 mins to come.
They said they had "fresh lime" soda but it was just cordial and not fresh.
They charge for chillies but don't mention it beforehand and just add it to your bill. Any condiments will be charged extra.
Dosa was good. The cheese and garlic Naan was good too.
The papdi chaat was average - small portion.
I just think the customer service could improve and they can communicate better. When I asked the waitress about the soda she refused to help and said the chef doesn't have time to cut real limes/lemons and make a fresh lime soda. She was pretty curt so I doubt I'd be back anytime soon.
Plenty of other Indian places with better service. Hope this improves.
Otherwise, dosa was the star. Got the paper masala dosa.
Lovely food, great service and hospitality. Thanks hiren for amazing experience. Definitely recommend.
If you guys can’t make food in 30 minutes, please don’t give 30 minutes waiting time to customers. Yesterday My husband waited more than 70 minutes for food and when he got it, it was cold. Chicken curry was salty, paneer chilli milli was tasteless, In pav bhaji, pav’s was burned. I have spent 75$ yesterday for my valentines, and everything was spoiled.all thanks to you
Absolutely fabulous hidden gem, well worth the 20 minute drive and will definitely be coming back.
Excellent food and service. Totally busy! We were advised to order because a party of 25 coming. Our dishes for 6 came promptly. Grateful for consideration. Fabulous meal!
Worst restaurant in perth.
Food was very average.
Service very poor, the ladies are so rude n don't know basic English to converse.
As a observer. I saw them making wait of uber pick ups, n not responding them. If u r not ready with the orders don't accept n make them wait, without acknowledging them. The ladies worst I say poor attitude n servicing
Lots of variety. The food tasted amazing. Great and quick service from Aman! Do try the paan kulfi (made by the chef).
Too much waiting time after taking the order. Service is not good. Machuria is soggy and doesn't seem fresh. Tasted south Indian dishes. Taste is not up to the expectations.
Top quality authentic Indian cuisine, I highly rate the team here at Sankalp. Always consistent flavour and quality in all there menu. Has become my go to for Indian fix.
Super friendly staff and service especially the owner. The food is very authentic. 5 stars.
Great food and great service. We had a lovely and helpful waitress who made suggestions of dishes to try. Yum.
You know the food is really good when there are lots of Indian families getting take away or eating in.
We had a great time today at Sankalp. It was a busy day and there were only 2 service staff. I was skeptical and thought that everything was going to take forever. To my delight we were served well on time. Special thanks to Harsha, who served us. The food was lovely as usual. Well done Sankalp team.
