Sandy Cape Recreation Park reviews
54 Well at just 2hrs north of perth its a brilliant spot. Especially if there during the week. Weekends get busy. Nice sheltered bay, good for boating and fishing.
Plenty to see and do.
Nice big campground, gets very busy in Summer, and very very windy. Well the Turquoise coast is the windsurfing/ kitesurfing centre of WA, so it would need to be …
One of the best free camps we stayed at. Plenty of room, some protection from the elements. Good swimming and sand dunes
Fees payable. Camp hosts on-site. Long drop toilets, beautiful beaches. Good 4wding along the coast.
Lovely little camping spot, sheltered behind the sand dunes. Toilets and showers provided. No access to drinking water or power. There are gas BBQ's in the picnic area. Lots to do around the area, beach is beautiful. Dogs permitted.
Beautiful spot for caravan, easy access & mostly level areas, all sites dog friendly. Easy access to the beach and spot's to put your chair to view beautiful sunset.
Lovely spot, non powered, short term of 4 days allowed but very reasonable, and easy access to the beach.
Absolutely brilliant campsite!
Best views & beaches. Quiet and extremely well kept. Bathrooms were spotless & caretaker accepter card for the fees!
10/10!
What a peaceful place. Very spacious campground right next to the Ocean. We stayed in the southern part: there is a bbq/picnic area and a toilet block. We didn't use showers but there are definitely outside ones with cold water. Trash bins at the entrance where the honesty box with envelopes for registration is. We saw caretakers at the spot, you could probably pay eftpos too but better be prepared with cash. Highly recommended campground
Great place to camp, clean toilets, recycling at the camp, rubbish & dump point at the information kiosk before entering the camp. Camp caretaker Carolyn very friendly & helpful.
Love it but the gravel road in is a nightmare. Just resurfaced the bitumen section but didn't touch the gravel section. Would have thought they make enough from tourists charges to finally finish the gravel section. Such a shame.
Just beautiful, but windy. Unfortunately we had to leave early cause of a thread of fire. But we got informed early and had plenty of time to pack up.
Great little camping spot, great for kids, sandboarding snorkeling etc. Can be windy so bring a kite need to get in early to get a good spot. Toilets are soso
Loved this place, its $20 a night with nowater or power. There are running water toilets and a cold shower if you want. They recycle cans and bottles in camp site, but rubbish bins and dump point is 1km near information board on the way in (which I thought was abit silly, unless you are going to unhitch, you in abit of trouble getting rid of waste). The sunsets were spectacular, the sand is white and water is blue. A photographers dream. The wind blow up abit, (Dec) and the nights were cold. The toilets were clean and new and the caretakers were lovely.
Awesome camp sites so close to the beach. Turn up and pay at the entrance and then pick a spot! Hosts were very friendly and had a lot of info on the area.
Gorgeous camping spot with the beach in sight. Toilets are a bit stinky but ok for a night's stopover. Kids loved playing in the sand dunes
Third time I've been here for quick little getaway from Perth. Camp grounds is still a close enough drive to head into Jurien Bay if you need some essentials. $20 a night and has newly built facilities - flushable toilets and showers.
Looks to be a new caretaker because this one was lovely compared to the previous stays.
Beautiful peaceful location with stunning landscape and beach. Great camping sites and easy access to Jurien Bay. 5 stars in my opinion. Worth a look and spend a few nights camping.
A great place for a mid-week camping getaway. No booking, first in first served. Sites to suit all campers from big-rigs to swag based camping. Be aware that it can get quite busy on weekends due to its easy proximity to Perth etc.
