Sandy Bay Holiday Park reviews
32We had a powered site for our rooftop camper, perfect. Green lawns, basic camp kitchen but still handy. Very clean showers. Thanks
Perfect, so close to beach.safe family friendly environment with great up to date facilities
Beautiful place, beautiful location, rooms are extremely well kept, we stayed in a rammed earth chalet so having a wood fire was lovely, however, there are possums, and lots of them, so if you are a light sleeper like myself expect to be awake most of the night listening to them run back and forth across the tin roof. Other than that you could not fault the place, would definitely recommend.
We just had 3 nights at Sandy Bay. Our Chalet was very comfortable and cosy and well equipped.
So well situated to lovely swimming beach restaurants and close to Busselton Centre.
Lovely Gardens and Lawns very well maintained Visited by possums on roof at night but got use to that.
Staff happy and friendly.
Yes my Wife and i and our dog have become regulars we stayed in the rammed earth accommodation in winter cosy warm and summer great air conditioning, also great location, very clean, extremely friendly service. Like home away from home.
We have just spent the weekend in one of the rammed earth chalets and we will definitely be back. The location is perfect with the nice calm waters of geographe Bay so close to the door step, the chalet was perfect for what we needed and the park itself was beautifully kept and well looked after
Exceptional service, friendly, clean well maintained grounds and chalets, camp kitchen and ablutions.
5 stars. Just left after my 4th stay at this park. Every-time this park has been perfect. Clean and friendly.
We have had an amazing holiday with our spoodle weather was amazing all week ️ This place highly recommend for dog owners.
Great park great location for a couples weekend away. We took our tent and had a really nice time and felt extremely safe and privacy respected. Sandy Bay holiday park hasn’t got beach views but is a beautiful short walk to the beach. We cycled to Busselton one day then Dunsborough the next. We will be back in the winter to stay in one of the cabins that have a fireplace.
Great location on the coast. Friendly staff. Great play area for kids. Recommended for quick family adventure.
Immaculate presentation; gardens, paths etc.all very well maintained. Nice camp kitchen and ablutions block. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Park is adjacent to the beach down a very quiet road. Park is a small size which is a plus in my books - nice and quiet. This place is a winner.
We have just returned from a wonderful school holiday break at Sandy Bay Holiday Park. We stayed in the Rammed Earth Chalets which were very well appointed for self catering, very clean and had super comfortable beds. The log fire was a bonus and kept us cosy and warm, with chopped wood and fire starting supplies replinished daily. The children enjoyed the playground and thick green grass outside the chalet to kick a ball. As well as the basketball hoop and plenty of laps around the park on bikes and scooters. We walked to the beach directly from the entrance to Sandy Bay, and built castles and collected shells. Lots of lovely memories made thanks to a beautiful place to stay and a fantastic, friendly team looking after us. Thanks so much!
Just the best! Cosy but spacious, earthy like something you would expect out in the forest but near the beach, shops, markets for BEST coffee, restaurants and 18 minutes either way to Busso or Dunsborough. Perfect staycation, coming back to “home” soaking up a wood fire on this cold wet weekend
Always a great group of people we pickup for our Private Wine Tours. Most are family groups.
Cape Discovery Wine Tours.
Beautiful grounds and very clean amenities. The beach behind is fabulous, especially as it's shallow and calm.
Lovely little place. Well maintained, green and friendly staff. Couple of things, when I called I was told they only had powered sites however I was put in an unofficial site (not on mud map) with no power. That's fine however charging full price isn't fair.
We stayed in a Swiss chalet. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for the 4 nights we stayed. The location is fantastic. It’s a very pleasant, easy 6km bike ride into Busselton, along a very good ocean side bike path. That said, the beautifully calm waters of the local beach are 100m away. We will likely return!
We spent a lovely few days staying at Sandy Bay this week and will definitely be back! So close to the beach and lovely little holiday park:)
Stayed for a weekend with my family at Sandy Bay, the holiday park is well looked after, with its tidy gardens, nicely shaded areas and good public facilities like the BBQ's and Showers. Like other reviews state, Sandy Bay is no doubt in a great location with local nearby shops, a Bar, Tennis Courts and of course the Beautiful Busselton Beach just 50 metres away. Also in Sandy bay are multiple lovely looking Chalet's that other reviewers have stated are great, but our family did camping in tents. There is many good things about this holiday park, but the negatives that got Sandy Bay to 3 stars is based on Overnight when Camping in tents. Although it cant be helped, we had bad nights with Wildlife which can be loud enough to be woken up at any part of the night, also certain equipment can be changed to benefit the park like the rundown basketball Hoop and Board games/Card Games that would have parts missing or broken.
Besides, Sandy Bay is a lovely Park around a lovely area, the staff were good to us and is a great place for the family or for a weekend getaway, but i dont recommend camping as the wildlife is very loud throughout the night.
Staying here in a Chalet is a guaranteed 4/5 Star experience and recommend to any who see this review.
