Sandrino Cafe & Pizzeria

We both had a chargrilled seafood platter 5*. The baby squid was tender. The king prawns cooked to perfection and the mussels were perfectly cooked. The fish was tasty and again absolutely fabulous. The chips were homemade and probably the best I have ever tasted.the included salad was again just right. Lovely olives and a nice dressing. What value for $32.00. My friend being vision impaired was still able to enjoy this beautiful lunch.

Service was great. The pizza I ordered was quite bland, nothing special. My partner's pasta was absolutely delish though.

The food was good. Service was good.
One thing that was strange is the fact that we were the only ppl in there at 8: 30.
I’m not local and I’ve known freo to be a snooze fest but 8: 30? Really? !
So we rushed the cake and left as staff around us started to clean up and move chair and tables outside.
No one said anything to us to hurry up or anything but when you sit in the middle of restaurant and every staff member is cleaning and packing up around you, doesn’t really say: chill and enjoy your meal.

We had a small private function this afternoon. The service was fantastic as was the food and super happy with the staff, they were all so friendly and very accommodating with our needs including dietry requirements. Nothing but positives for Sandrino's! 100% recommend, and I can't wait to come back!

Staying close to the restaurant on a FIFO gig I only had time to get takeaway but the pizza was excellent.
Ordered the Sticky Date Pudding & Ice Cream a couple of times. It's to die for. If your in Fremantle, you have to try it. Best Ever. You won't be disappointed.
Staff are polite, happy to take a pick-up order over the phone. Pick up orders have a 20% reduction in price.
I can't vouch for the dine-in experience but what I did experience, I'd recommend giving the restaurant a go.
Don't forget to order the Sticky Date Pudding.

Used to love this place.
Always had amazing authentic Italian food.
Shocked by the quality of food recently.
Bland pasta, greasy pizza and again flavourless.

Highly recommend the place! Great pizzas (thin and crispy base) and pasta (carbonara was awesome), great deals (your kid can eat free), nicely priced, great atmosphere. 100% worth your time and money.

The chilli mussels here are amazing! If you travel to Freo and want some good food go for the chilli mussels here for sure

Fremantle has got one of the best eating areas, Sandrino doesn't drop the ball. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, the only thing I could pick on, and it's really nothing at all, would be that while you are serving food that is presented well, is fresh and just pops in your mouth, you bring out a garlic bread, yes it's baked in a wood fired oven but you just throw on some generic herbs. I'm sure that you could quite easily change it over to a fresh herb and garlic topping to match the rest of your freshly made menu. I will definitely be eating at Sandrino again but next time I'll get their rosemary and sea salt pizza which looked delicious. Great job guys, keep up the good work.

When they first moved back we had a very disappointing experience, but we tried it again today on a whim and it was great! Thank you

Unfortunately our experience was not great. We ordered the Seafood platter for 2. Sizing was great but execution was terrible. Either used the wrong oil or old oil, everything was dark brown and tasted burnt. Even the grilled was fish was over cooked and stringy. Pizza was good. Service, we felt rushed. We were disturbed 3 times by 2 different people on our very short stay.

The "Chili Muscles" were nothing special. They were not spicy at all and tasted like they had been cooked in can tomato soup.

The old guy who sat us at our table was very rude, however our waitress and the other server who cleared our plate were great.

Sandrino's is a stalwart of Fremantle restaurant scene, having put out tasty good quality food for decades. We ate here recently 4 adults 4 kids all of food was delivered on time the highlights were the seafood platter for two with a delicious selection of perfectly cooked seafood and the chilli mussels, kids meals were all enjoyed and finished by the little ones, even the fussy one.

We had Pumpkin and Goat Cheese pizza plus extra capsicum and onion topping.
It was so burnt, with hardly any topping on the pizza but full of rocket lettuce, which I am sure the cafe put on to hide the fact there was little topping. The pizza was really soggey and just fell apart, even when cold, as I tried to pick up to eat the pizza
It really is the worst pizza we have ever had.
I was asked by the waitress what we thought of the pizza?
I said I couldn't see any cheese, she looked at the pizza and said, "I can see it, it is there". When we paid for the 2 pizzas, I was asked again what I thought of the pizza?
I said "it was a bit burnt" her reply was "I will tell the chef".

Went to Freo for the day and decided to try this place. Was slightly put off by having to order via the QR code app, I much prefer having communication with a human being. Apparently if you sit inside a waiter will take your order but if you want to sit outdoors then there’s no choice other than to use the QR App. If it’s a staffing issue it shouldn’t make a difference where you sit. This is an Italian restaurant and so you expect some authenticity in the meals. Pizza was not good and tasted like they put coles barbecue sauce on top. Just not very good at all. We were hungry so ate all of it. Disappointed.

Found a cockroach in our pizza.
Pizza - Dough was "bready" and lacked that light "airy" nature of Neapolitan pizza. Menu stated "Buffalo mozzarella" but the pizza had none, was just cheap pre-grated mozzarella.
Its a shame to have lovely woodfired pizza ovens, only skimp on quality ingredients.
The management were apologetic about the contamination and removed the pizza from the bill.

Great food I had a Parma with spaghetti instead of chips and salad an option on the menu my partner seafood dish was great too

Good food, shocking service. Waited an ungodly amount of time for the mains, hard to flag down staff who seemingly hate having to serve anyone.won't come back.

Great food and atmosphere. The order by using QR reader is painful and subjects you to more chances of cards being compromised. Noting the staff numbers also unnecessary.
