Salvos Stores Whitfords

I got interogated by a rude woman from this store as I was putting stuff in the donation bins outside the shop. She told me I needed to sort out toys and clothes into separate bags before I drop them off. So I took me stuff to Vinnies who were very grateful and polite.

Come on Salvo's - read your reviews.this store is getting a bad reputation because of this rude woman - time to move her on!

$17 dollars for a used top outrageous, when I asked them to give me a discount as there were some stains on it they said no because it’s princess Polly brand when it’s Cleary a used top. So disappointing and to think this is also a store for people who are not so fortunate to buy new clothes prices are getting similar to brand new clothing which is not good horrible in fact.

Too expensive, $10 per box set and the DVDs weren't correct, it's like no one checks. $12 for Roxy jandels when retail is $15. I used to work here when Tom was in charge, he was humble. Whoever is in charge now has forgotten that it's a SALVOS store ‍️‍️ I would not recommend unless your willing to pay almost brand new prices. Go to Greenwood salvos or I would highly recommend any "Hope" store.

Prices not much lower than retail at this Salvos. Found a number of items even higher price than new at kmart and online. Stick to Sammy’s for the bargains

Way too EXPENSIVE, these second hand stores forget they're for the poor.
$15 for a top that is second hand, needs a wash before one wears is just ludicrous. I can go to Big W and get brand new top for $5.

Rant over. The staff here are lovely.

My partner was accused of stealing the jacket he walked in with on, the woman at the counter was incredibly rude and when we offered to stay while they checked their security cameras, she told us to leave and that she would check it later. If it was stolen why check it later once we’ve already left the store? Made no sense to me. Won’t be returning to this store.

Was at side of the counter looking at an item which sat behind it and the lady at the till told me they have cameras in store! I was just looking and did not reach out to touch anything. I understand that most of the staff are volunteers but if you are going to be rude to customers then time to look for another job where you don’t have to interact with people.

Great store. Normally has something of interest in it. Prices can be a bit high for some items but really cheap for others. Great place to donate stuff that they can sell.

Everything is wonderfully organised into sections so easy to find what your looking for.
Designers Labels Section. A nice big store with lovely friendly staff

Good range of items, not just clothing; selling small electrical items, glassware, kitchen stuff. They also stock new items like reading glasses, toiletries, socks, sweets and plasters. Good amount of parking.

We’ve been there this morning around 11: 30 am. The cashier in the counter is very rude, unfriendly not even a single smile on her face! The same as the cloudy weather outside!

Very Poor service ask to have item's put behind counter as there eftpos down. Go to collect after work the next day and they have sold two of the items being held and expected me to buy what was remaining, staff rude and did not care.

Had what we needed for a dress up at a charity event, staff were a bit rude though which was the only let down

Very overpriced with wedding dresses and ball dresses for salvos to charge so much makes me think salvos were turning into a high end boutique, absolutely ruined my entire day hopping from one salvos to another and seeing the same overpriced gowns

I just hope salvos realise that low income earners find it difficult to fork out $300 on a donated wedding dress

The staff here are top-notch. Couldn't be more helpful. Such a lot of stock too. Always there when I'm in the area.

A huge & fascinating repository of marvelously diverse pre-loved ‘things’ of all types! Visit, take just a few dollars, & you will sure to find some treasures to carry you away - & for you to carry off when you go! Recommend

Dropping off items but yes also come home with some books.well stocked&friendly, happy staff.

It's a nicely presented store, it doesn't have much in the way of furniture, plenty of everything else though.

Lots of clothes for women. Some times video game stuff but is rare. A small book collection too.

A large store with an extensive range.
Of particular note, they have a large book section, as is their homewares and bric a brac section.
Friendly, helpful staff, I was there just before close, and was not rushed or made to feel like an imposition.
Neat, clothing organised into well thought out sections.
