Salvos Stores Osborne Park reviews
17I have been there several times, not found anything. The Salvos offers a space where people can volunteer and get out to interact with the public. And that is lucky for the volunteers at this Salvos shop, because I doubt that anybody else would have them. I have had a few disturbing experiences with them. Volunteering gives some people (especially elderly people) an opportunity to inflict their bigotted attitudes on members of the public; a public who would otherwise be better off not encountering them. The last manager here was difficult and unpleasant and the current one, a borderline-arrogant Middle Eastern man is no different. If you are looking for the best quality op shop buys, then you need to go to the wealthier areas of Perth, not to an industrial area like Osborne Park. The donations are not that great.
Worst Salvos Ive ever been to. Dirty smelly & completely disorganised. Pricing is all over the place.
Really rude staff. I handed in a bag of donations and the guy said bring it to the back next time! Rude. How about thanks for the donation?
Also why are you so expensive compared to other stores? Like $16 for second hand shoes, not even brand shoes. Would never come here again.
Incredibly rude staff! Similar to the previous reviews I came into the store with my donations and walked them to the back as instructed to be met with a rude lady who said “donations are supposed to come around the back” not and thank you or have a nice day. I wanted to take my donations back to take elsewhere! Manors cost nothing, and just because you receive several donations a day you shouldn’t make people donating feel unappreciated because they will not come back!
This shop charges more for second hand clothes and items than Kmart does for brand new clothes and items. Given that they don’t pay for their merchandise, it really is disgusting that they gouge people so fiercely. A very greed organisation!
All second-hand cleaned clothes, very cheap. Whatever you buy money goes to a good cause mostly the poor
Salvo's store in Osborne Park is great; they have a lot of clothing as well as furniture, housewares and even electrical items at very good prices. The store manager went above and beyond for me, going out of her way to make sure that I can get my new desk home. I have nothing but praise, well done Salvo's!
Salvos Osborne Park has really come a long way. They have excellent value and so much range in stock it’s incredible.
Good shop, the two stereos they have playing are delayed which makes shopping a bit unbearable maybe wear headphones here
Not much is ever there. Be very wary about buying anything electrical from this place (I got stung twice). Pretty pricey for an op shop. Some of the staff / volunteers have intellectual or psychological problems, so you have to be aware that they can be a bit quirky. They also like to use homophobic terms which will get the Salvation Army sued as soon as someone gets them on camera.
Wont be going back to volunteer, was set up to fail always rude to me even tho i never spoke to no staff members.
Watch your back working there, if they dont like you they will make it very difficult for you to work there. Rude rude rude
I work elsewhere and its a joy to be there.
Lowest price. Variety of products. Good service. Transports at affordable price for big stuffs you are purchasing. Your cash will contribute to some one who really need a help.
If you want to buy something from second hand-the best place to go is NOT THE BEST PLACE. MAYBE SAMMY next door but not Salvo- that is for sure. This is area of Manager Daniel and if he will not like you in this shop, be sure he will make you leave. Salvation Store Employee behaviour.
Hey, Daniel -try to be human more than. God.
Is is a second hand shop and you are The Manager, who lost because of your behaviour, good client. Well done! And shame
Found what I was looking for a couple of t-shirts and also couple of CDs didn't go in there for them but still that's good
The staff are so rude at this one not to mention the HIGH prices.
After making my selections i go to pay for my items only to be accused of tampering with the tickets! What the! And how? Is what i asked.my question wasnt answered i was just told that the items i believed were half price were now full price with no explanation! Wil never go back i was ao embarrassed.
Very nice second hand store! Reasonable prices and very wide variety of things! You cab find anything you need for a very reasonable price ($5-$15)
One of the best best charity stores in Perth.loads here from clothing to book to furniture to bric and brac.
