Salvos Stores Ocean Keys reviews
17Great selection of stuff in this store, BUT they sorely need more than just TWO fitting rooms! I saw lots of people waiting outside of these.
Absolutely love this shop alway clean, organised in sizes and friendliest staff plus bargains galore.

I want to buy a winter jacket priced $5 green tag. When I brought it to the cashier which is a Filipina, checked the tag thoroughly for about 2 minutes and you can tell that she was very suspicious. She thought I changed it and when she realised that it was a legit priced tag she asked me to wait because she needs to see the manager. She came back with a new $15 priced tag and said, “it was wrongly priced and the manager changed it”. I was feeling annoyed and told her I want to see the manager now. She answered me that the manager is not here “maybe buy some food. ” I asked her, who changed the price then and she start explaining non-sense to me about they can changed the price anytime if they want… I told her that is very wrong, this is OP shop and you don’t need to change the price and lie. Very dishonest and entitled staff. It’s not about the money I complained about but the attitude of that staff. So feeling entitled as if she is selling a consignment clothing. And if you can meet this kind of staff in a OP shop, you feel that Salvos is not a charity anymore instead a big business industry.
So I end up not getting the jacket, anyway I’m not buying clothing for me in Salvos but, buying it there for my unfortunate friends outside Australia.
Just received 2 books sent to Victoria. So carefully packed and protected. Appreciate it. Great job.
Whilst i was browsing i couldn't help but hear the conversation out back, workers choosing what they put aside for each other, what to send out to the store. (such and such would like this), - put it aside.we all knew this was going on behind closed doors but to hear it in person was rather comical. - you may be volunteers but this is not a free charity hoarde, they also leave huge amounts of gifts outside to the point i on a regular basis see people driving up and just picking through what is outside.
I ordered from this store via their online website and they still provided fantastic customer service even though I live in a different state. Great items at fantastic prices. Thanks for your help!)
Good thrift shop with loads of bargains! Save 20% on Thursdays with pensioner/health care card!
The staff was incredibly helpful but the store had very limited sizes and I felt their shoes were overpriced
They downsized or something. They used to have a much better selection of kids clothes but I was disappointed this time when I went in looking for some clothes for my daughters.
Quite a large shop. Well laid out. They get new stuff in all the time. Can sometimes get school clothes donated.
You can get all kinds of things here and at a significantly lower price than what you would see at bigger stores.
Not cheap for clothing anymore, but great for household items, toys and books. Find a hidden bargain.
Food was good but I was so shocked at the state of gents toilet not cleand no list to checked has cleand them.
I like the op-shop concept but sometimes the Salvos Stores' rails are stacked too full and you can't even move the clothes on it, let alone get something out without it hooking onto other garments or coming off the hangers. This causes frustration and has been the reason I have left the store many times without buying. Something to keep in mind.
Big op shop with lots of stock. I do find it can be more expensive than other op shops, but they do have a big range and random ticket colour sales here and there so you will probably find what you need.
Always worth a look, as a great place to find done surprisingly interesting stuff. Super cheap prices, though you have to sort through to find a bargain. Good place to find second hand books, DVDs, games for the kids and even furniture items.
