Salvos Stores Myaree reviews
13Will never donate there again. I usually take a lot of things to Good Sammys but at the moment they weren’t taking any more donations. I dropped some things off at Salvos and had a couple fabric storage boxes on me and handed it to her and she threw it in the BIN in front of me saying they can’t sell it. Not a problem, but what about instead of taking it from me and throwing it away ASK me if i just want to take it back and give it to someone else? They were not trashed or anything they were perfect and she could not have cared less.
Stupidly overpriced! The lady is also very rude at the counter, she inspected my item and then said it should have been priced higher op shopping is great for the environment and also gives back to charity but when you can buy new for the same price why bother
Similar to Libby’s review posted 4 years ago, it is a lovely store, but I find it overly priced and did not find one thing I like. I have had a better experience at Salvos O’Connor.
This is such a lovely charity store but today I arrived at 5: 06pm and the doors were locked even though they are supposed to be open until 5: 30pm. I've wasted my time driving out of my way to come today because people can't be bothered to stay until closing, is really ridiculous.
Beautifully set store. Seems to be a store for designer labels via their sorting team/deliveries. Prices seem fair depending on the item. I marked it 4 star due to seeing how much items on the shop floor that had damage to garments and sold for over $10+ with said damage. I didn't bring these items up to staff as there was quite a few and was there for a short time. I will be back as staff seemed friendly and the store was set up neat which made searching for gems much easier. I do like the colour scheme for clothes set up also.
On Friday I took some LP records here to donate. A very nice lady was pleased to get them, and when asked if they would like more, she said 'yes please '. Yesterday (Saturday) I returned with some more, only to be met at the door by a very rude Asian lady who said 'what is that'. I told her records. She said I don't want them. I then told her the Friday lady told me to bring them. She said 'Well I'm the manager and I don't want them! ' Not going back there. Other op shops in the vicinity were very pleased and appreciative to have them.
Gorgeous well organised salvos, one of the prettiest I've been too.
Has alot of high end items, home goods wasn't really well priced as stuff I've brought previously from other salvos were half that price.
Staff were very unfriendly and are overpriced for a salvos. Not everyone can afford $20 for second hand clothes
So impressed with this Salvos! The store's layout is amazing, it's clean, it's neat and the window display decor (with all the hanging circles) is so creative and eye-catching! Favourite Salvos store in Perth! Kudos to the team
Nice vibe they are trying to set but super over prices for a second hand shop considering So many donations and volunteers working. Seems you can buy things brand new from Kmart for same price as some items.
Amazing stock and store layout. Could easily spend an entire afternoon there with such quality fabrics and labels.
One of the larger salvo stores around, Good range and very well laid out with a significant men's section. They also have a rack for more expensive brands if that's something you're looking for. It's airconditioned and has 4 change rooms.
My favourite op shop, good quality clothes, good displays and nicely organised. Staff are very friendly and upbeat too.
