Salvos Stores Craigie reviews
14Lovely little store, always find some goodies there. Love the way they dress up the front window display differently every week & put up a Facebook post so you can see new stock. No junk, you can tell they have gone through the donations and only put out good items. If I have occasionally found a mark or missing button etc they gladly lower the price. Parking easy and right outside shop. Staff happy and when I was last there, there were local high school students helping out as part of their community service, there was lots of laughter & they were trying on clothes to show customers different styles, was a fun atmosphere. Some shops have a musty smell from old donated goods but this was fresh and welcoming you to snoop around.
Great store but bad customer service, it may be an op shop but you still actually have to give some customer service, manager there with the attitude could learn some people skills too.
The lady working in the Craige Op shop today has just shouted at my wife and kids because my 4 year old was playing with some toys on the floor. My wife left the shop with my three traumatised kids all crying from the terrible interaction. What a horrible woman. I will be taking this complaint further.
Appalling staff member in this store. I will not be returning and ensuring I let everyone I know to avoid at all costs!
Salvos is a charity so if you’re going to give it 1 star because you tried to barter with them maybe you should just shop at the dollar store instead
What the _ happened to the Salvos? I gathered a Bundle of about 5 things in there the other day and they tried to charge me $74! I put half the items back and despite much resistance I managed to get the attendant to negotiate on the $15 boots (that were making a mess all over the counter from the flaking leather) because I assured her there'd only 1 or 2 more good wears out of them. When I got home I realised the other 2 things I bought were damaged/ faulty as well including a $19 jacket that didn't zip and had missing buttons. Better off just buying new.
Was prepared to spend money but after poor customer service from one of the ladies working I decided not to.
Might be a small store but believe me you may find something you have looked everywhere for. The staff are so polite
Always friendly staff Reasonably priced 2nd Hand Goods Store Medium sized with lots of clothing goods
Nice little store. Like all op shops too get the real bargains you've got to put the work in and search those racks.but it's such fun.im a but addicted
Pricey and nasty. Obviously my feelings are felt by a lot of people as this store no longer exists.
Really nice staff but prices are not very reasonable considering you can get $4 t shirts at kmart that end up there for $8 the pricing guidelines are out dated.
Some great bargains, small store but adequately stocked with clothing, apparel, toys, knick knacks & more. Friendly staff, love the salvos shops
The store is small but well presented and staff polite. However, was in there yesterday after going to Wangara Salvos.looking for long casual cotton Summer dresses. At Craigie Salvos they were priced $14 - $17. At Wangara the same thing was $6-8. A mistake maybe? I hope so. Craigie over priced, I would never pay that much.
