So, i went to Salvos Cannington, and to the side of the serving counter, there was a table with a box of vegetables and a large amount of bread, with a sign saying FREE.
A lady grabbed 2 loafs of bread and some vegetables because obviously she needed it.
Once at the counter, she got told to put it back because she had not purchased anything from the shop.
She was obviously upset and embarrassed.
All the table sign said Free nothing else.
Poor lady left the store.
False advertising Salvos!
Well done with helping people in need.
Never, ever going back.

Come here often and have had a wide variety of experiences here. But I've had a few negative interactions with the same man at the check out desk. Some items I pick up don't have tags on them and it wasn't a problem before but everything this man is check me out he makes them $30+. He's don't this to a bag that has a literal hole that I was planning to fix along with a hand bag that was $10.he put it in as $35! For a damaged bag. I'm all for charity but this is absolute robbery. You're better off going elsewhere.

Big opp shop sometimes has free bread, close to other opp shops such as good sammy and vinnes. And also close to westfield shopping centre.

Brian couldn’t have been more helpful. He helped me with a product that someone else also expressed interest and because I asked first, gave me first opportunity. He helped lift, sort, measure and seperate and organised a trolley as the curtains were very heavy. Tha is so much

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Large one with more choice, have first hand fashion as well. However, finding gems still a kind of luck

Very friendly and happy service by a man who was making joke after joke, silly innocent jokes. Very clever. Everything is put on display very thoughtfully and makes it super easy to access! Can find anything I need easily! Change rooms nice and freed up. Good flow of customers and not too much riff-raff, none in fact, nice and peaceful shopping experience. The man charged my jumpers I had aside when I came back as 3 dollars each so I got 3 hooded jumpers including a cool pink Adidas one for 9 dollars in total. Very kind of him. It had originally come to 25 dollars and was adding up. So definitely going back there! Good one sammys!

I have been going to the salvo store in Cannington for many years, I find the service and friendliness of the staff…. (Brian) (Brett) (param) In particularly very helpful and they are always smiling and very helpful and always greet me when I walk in the shop and that’s why I keep coming back?

Rude staff members, volunteers. Extremely overpriced for things that have been donated. Salvos are no longer a second chance store, their all about profit. I've attached photos of a box of lego that had been donated but now it's $350 to buy! How do you expect people who can't afford new toys for their kids to spend this on a second hand item?
Will no longer donate to Salvos or buy anything from them.

Please be Careful when visiting/buying from Salvos Stores Cannington - Pricing can be 3 to 4 times more than retail stores! Please make sure you check your receipt, charged for re-usable bags, never requested the item or received.
After reviewing number of reviews, Salvation Army need to re-train the staff located at Cannington, based on the Organisations Values -
Integrity
Compassion
Respect
Diversity
Collaboration
Service has changed a lot within the last 2 years
Very sad!

Unpleasant experience every time I go here. This will be the last time. Sternly shouted at by the register worker to sign in when I walked thought the door and was looking around for my child (who’d ran ahead with his nanna).
Most items over priced. Also many items marked not for sale - which doesn’t sit right with me. If you donate an item to sell to collect money for charity that charity keeping the item seems like stealing.
Shop floor is overcrowded, staff are rude anything worth buying is stupidly overpriced or not for sale.
When I was shopping a wheel chair using man couldn’t get through the unnecessarily crowded door and no one cared. Yeah the same register worker that shouted at me didnt even look up.

Really untidy displays of clothing, all jumbled up! Noone on the floor to keep it tidied. Some really worn out items of clothing that were still priced really high too. Won't shop/look there again in the future.

I've been to Fremantle, Willetton, Rockingham have yet too do Joondalup but hands Cannington has the best deals, best store cleanliness and such great stock and is super huge you need to check every nook and cranny you never know what you find, I spent about 2hours here in most of that was in the home goods section. As I was shopping there a call went out to the whole store HALF PRICE on all clothes! I went crazy lol and that was on a Saturday omg I can't go back next month and see what they got ️

Atrociously overpriced. Was mortified looking at donated used goods for prices sometimes higher than retail. Staff rude and inconsiderate.
A blatant disrespect of the Salvation Army mission.

Can be very expensive (for an op shop). But other op shops in the area can be pricey too, except for the Good Sammy and Vinnies. They are pretty reasonable.

Very very expensive, prices on some items are higher than new retail!
Disgusting really when you think they get items for nothing and the staff are volunteers. Absolute greed!
