Salvos Stores reviews
21 Extremely rude staff handling donations. My mother and I have both donated recently and were both unlucky enough to be met with extremely rude staff when dropping off our donations. I donated a large amount of high quality, expensive brand name crystal and glassware this afternoon. I called out to a young man, saying I had some breakable items to donate and he pushed a red bin over to me, I asked if it should be placed in the bin as the items are breakable and expensive. He replied that I don't have a choice and he doesn't care. Extremely rude. I would have thought to that your organisation would take great care of these items as I'm sure you'd charge extortionate
amounts in true Salvation Army fashion. Rude and ungrateful. I'll give elsewhere next time.
Great service with Connor. My purchase doesn’t have price tag. He was super helpful with very quick action.
Huge store. No electrical items. All clothes in sizes and colour. Very easy to find what you need. Nice staff.
I finally loaded spring cleaning rejects into the boot to donate and then had a great time with my daughter finding books and clothes and socks.have found great furniture here.never get bored here.
Initially ordered a Disney parks Tokyo Stitch plush, from Salvos Store Butler (online hub) opened my parcel and was ecstatic to see they had put in not only the plush I ordered, but an extra one as well! I rang the store to express my absolute appreciation, but I also wanted to write this here to absolutely commend the online team at SS Butler! Thank you guys!
This shop has certainly put their prices up. I used to love shopping here but haven’t been for quiet a few months.
Most have a new manager because the shop is an absolute mess.
DVDs $3 each plus selling Bali copies.
Kids books $2 each
Very expensive for the quality of the product.
Kmart ANKO brands selling for more than they sell for new at Kmart.
Very disappointing that this shop has gone downhill. Will stick to Vinnies
The staff are super helpful & friendly. Had a nice conversation with a friendly bloke who helped me load two book cases into my car, i really appreciate the help & will most definitely return often
Not shopping here as often as I used to. Prices are too high. There’s Kmart and other cheap brand tops priced higher than they were new.
Items in the household area can be brought new at the same or cheaper prices.
I rather Good Sammy’s or Salvos at Banksia Grove. I got 3 bowls at banksia grove for the same price as the matching ONE at butler (Pure luck) they are all the same size.
Disappointed as I’m only around the corner.
I needed a coat for a trip away, was there 1st thing amazingly found 2 bought both will donate them back after weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful very clean store.
Great store, well laid out, lots of variety, always leave with a bargain. Friendly, helpful staff also.

Salvos Butler store is the best i've shopped at.
It's spacious, always clean & fresh, very well organised with a wide variety for sale.
Most of all, it has extremely helpful & polite staff.
This is up the road from me, love it. Stock rotates well, staff super friendly and always helpful. Prices good. Keep up the good work guys, as Arnie says. 'I'll be back
Big store, very clean with lots of staff on hand to assist. Its always buzzing with customers too so I assume the stock is always changing. Everytime I've gone here I've always walked out with a bargain.
Large store, well laid out. Not as cheap as other charity shops but they have a good range. Good selection of school clothes
Daugher Got a Great Deal on a Writing Desk, As An Improvement Reward for Her Eldest, Win, Win.
Love to recycle and the treasures we find here. First place we visit for dress ups for school and themed parties. All our excess go here too.
Staff were not helpful or interested they were busy talking amongst themselves
I love shopping at the salvos stores but the butler store was not welcoming
I wont be going back
Very good quality second hand clothing. I can see the staffs are working hard to make the clothes look presentable. Clothes are smell nice and clean. This is the best op shop ever.
