Salvos Stores reviews
13Friendly staff, helpful and the store is kept clean and managed properly with everything in its place, easy to find.
Disappointed, tried to drop off some donations and was lied to. The lady I approached out the front pointed to the door that clearly said that they would be open till 5: 30 during the week but was pointing to the Saturday time of 5 and said they are shutting soon.
Some Prices where a little bit to EXPENSIVE, over the TOP considering most all items are actually Donated to these Store's
This is a great place to pick up bargains of all descriptions stock clean and plenty of it Crossways next door is a thrifty Cafe serves good food and coffee to less affluent client s
Considering lots of people have lost their jobs due to covid-19. Im at a loss to understand why things that were donated for free now have, in some cases a ridiculous price tag. It seems to be the trend among op shops now. It's becoming cheaper to buy clothes from Kmart and furniture off the FB marketplace. I don't understand what's going on. In one shop today I saw two old chairs for $45 each! I mean you can't be serious. Salvos are the most expensive out of all the op shops and always have been.
Always slightly different staff each few days. I was in the shop last year. I stopped going as I witness a staff being treated poorly by another (volunteer is Nicki) at counter. Always rolling her eyes and giving an evil eye to other volunteers or saying sarcastic stuff. Hello, other customers aren't dumb enough to ignore it. What a way to bring down business at salvos.
Over crowded, can't move without knocking into something and poor service at the counter.minus 5 stars
Good! Closer to. Salvo shop.good quality to buy.cheaper for people can't afford expensive clothes etc.now what Salvo for!
Needs more staff friendly too.
Really silly that Fitting rooms are still closed! Restaurant and all are opening, plenty of people in Woolies / Coles and other shops & your fitting rooms are closed! All other shops like Myer, David Jones, Target allow try on! Disappointed!
Brought A Mattress from store to be delivered it arrives with a massive crater in it now I am forced to sleep on a bed that gives me back aches till I can afford to pay for a new one. Cant return it as I need to bring it back to the store I do not have a Car that was the reason I Payed for Delivery in the first place. Definitely not buying from Salvos again or Recommend to anyone.
This store is a pleasure to go into. It is set out wonderfully a d they don't have lots of junk on the shelves that really no body wants. It smell pleasant does not have that old musty smell. The store was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately prices at this store have risen sharply over the few years - sadly prices are on par with retail outlets such as Kmart and Big W.
Prices are really outrageous. Quality verses pricing is poor. Staff not overly friendly or helpful.
