Salon Express Whitfords

I never thought to go here to get my hair coloured, but my usual hairdresser is overseas.
My neighbour recommended I go to salon express, and promised that all the girls there were amazing. And, she was right! They were all so helpful in listening to what I wanted and explaining all the options. The beautiful Clare did my hair and did an incredible job. I will definitely be back!

Love it here! Girls are so friendly. I look forward to my monthly appts. I've had so many compliments on my haircut. Clara is just amazing. I can't recommend her highly enough. Ask for Clara and Clare and you definitely won't be disappointed!

My 14 year old daughter went here to get her hair dyed for the first time.
She asked for a quote, to make sure she had enough money.
When she came to pay, she was charged an extra $60 for 'something they had to do' which was not explained as it was happening or even told what it was for.making her hair colour $281 for less than 1/4 of her head dyed, this does not include a cut, they only blow dried the fringe, the back was soaking wet.
Diabolical! DO NOT USE THIS SALON

Such a lovely experience at Salon Express Whitfords today. Vikki is an absolute delight, so knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. There was such a great vibe in the salon with both the staff and customers. I had a root stretch, foils & blow dry and I was very impressed with the results and price. Would very happily recommend and return!

Paid $392 for a full head of foils and a cut plus shampoo. No blow dry after or anything. So walked out with wet hair which was my own choice otherwise it would have been even more expensive! Not happy with the cut hair does not flow nicely at all and as per photo you can see the front looks real bad. Only went there because my hubby gave me a voucher for my birthday! Would not recommend this Hair Salon!

My mother came to you for a simple hair dye (obviously which includes a wash and dry). Before she had her hair done they inform her about the price of what she wants. My mother just made a comment saying that your price keeps on increasing. The lady who my mother believes was new gave a rude reply saying no that has always been the price it hasn’t increased. Say may have taken what my mum said to be a rude thing questioning the price but don’t we all do if it keeps on increasing every time we go to our regular hair salon? However, my mother said the price is if and was happy to continue with her appointment. Once the lady had dyed my mothers hair she began to wash her hair and was so rough and kept on pulling my mothers hair even though she mentioned it to the lady a few time to be gentle with her hair and head (my mother has ms and her hair and head has become extremely sensitive). She was so rough with the washing that she ripped out my mothers earring! My mother obviously talked to another lady there once her appointment was over and the other lady replied oh you were being rude and questioning the prices. Then the original lady said to my mother you never thanked me. Excuse me why would something thank you when you pulled their hair and ripped out their earring? Someone seems delusional to me. Overall my mother will DEFINITELY NOT be returning to you!

Hope you have better customer service next time with your future customers otherwise you will lose more and more clients!

Wanted a quick tidy up hair cut. Extremely happy with result by sorry, can't remember the Irish girl with long blonde hair name who comes from Donegal. She was lovely asking me questions about my natural blonde hair, she had never seen hair this natural colour b4

Rushed hair cut. It was a buzz back and sides and trim top. No real blending work ended up lumpy. Having been there before and found them ok, I am very disappointed with today's hairdresser.

My daughter got a trim and added a fringe and the lady was great. She communicated excellent about the cut and my daughter was very happy with it. We will be back for the trims

I showed up with reference pictures for bangs that I wanted to get. The lady cutting my hair barely looked or acknowledged what I was saying and generally looked like she didn't want me there. The end result was choppy, uneven bangs with messy asymmetrical side pieces. Looks kinda like a mess now:/

Went in for a trim (not my length just a tidy up as i am trying to grow it out) the stylist showed me how much she would take off berore starting which was fine. However, what i ended up with was a layer hair cut my top section is now much shorter where it was nearly in line with my longest length.

I'm very dissapointed and won't be coming back.

Worst haircut i have ever had. Girl didn't listen to what I wanted and cut what she thought i should have.i am in my 60's and know exactly how i want my hair cut.i never asked for her opinion & she was rather rude. So I left unhappy & won't be back.felt too intimidated to say anything incase she would botch my hair even more

Clara is the best stylist I have been to in a long time. She listens to what you want, gives good advice, is friendly and professional and doesn’t rush the job. She’s the reason I keep coming back to Salon Express and she’s an asset to this salon.

I had my first haircut in a long time here and I was so so pleased with the results! My hairdresser brought my hair back to life and I will definitely be back here for my next haircut:)

I didn't like the finished product but that was probably because my hair was too short & the girls were lovely

Taleah was a wonderful stylist - she listened to what I asked for and gave me recommendations to achieve what I wanted but ultimately let me decide each step of the way (low maintenance and no worrying about root recolouring) so we did natural balayage. When the colour wasn’t as blonde as I wanted, she took the extra time to lift some of the toner. I came back the next working day and said it still wasn’t light enough, so she tried to lift further and ended up doing new balayage foils without extra cost and staying overtime to finish it. The other stylists were helpful, positive and interested in the process too despite me coming back. I’ll definitely be coming back to Taleah!

Terrible service, don't Waste your time, don’t tell your clients walk in only when you can’t even have them at those times.

Always happy with my haircuts but last visit had quite a wait despite an appointment with no explanation as to why.hopefully a once off!

I had a half head of foils and roots done, no blow dry or cut just a dry off - $270. I think this expensive, but was satisfied with the job done. The staff are lovely and a pleasure to meet, thankfully.
