Friendly service and great food. The food came out very quickly after we ordered. We ordered a green prawn curry which had good spice and so many prawns and Pad thai chicken no spice but tasted lovely (GF). Would highly recommend

We had a horrible take out meal from here. We were very surprised, given the good reviews. We ordered chicken green curry, which was watery and had no real taste, chicken satay, which was OK for taste, but the chicken was tough and overcooked, chicken and broccoli, which again was rather flavourless and the chicken was tough, and Thai fish cakes, which thankfully were lovely. All in all, a bad experience and we would definitely not order from them again.

Service was amazing but the curry puffs and prawn rolls had very little of the protein. The basil seafood was inedible. The seafood was really over cooked. I think I was unlucky as 2 other people in group said that the food was ‘Ok’, 2 said it was good and 1 said theirs was fantastic. I think given the prices, it could have been better.

I like the ambience but the food was very average, including the chef's special beef which was over-cooked and tough. The masaman beef was full of potato and only contained 3 small chunks of beef.

Always exquisite and a great welcome. I have been in 2004,2005,2009 and 2023, in fact every time I come to Australia and WA. Definitely the best Thai restaurant in WA.

Cannot fault the service and the pricing. The only downside was that we hardly had enough rice given to us for a family of 5 when we clearly asked "Rice for 5". Their green curry was more like white curry and wasn't something to rave about. The spicy pork was delightful and tasty.

Amazing Thai food with awesome touch of hospitality. The fish (snapper) was cooked in tamarind and chilli. Cooked to perfection and it was worth the price. The prawn fried rice and chicken pad Thai were tasty. However, the fish stole the show. For dessert, we have had the mango sticky rice which was delicious. Nice welcoming staff and beautiful ambience. Recommended for a date night and just a casual night out with your friends.

Great tasing food, but the service mediocre. Unhappy staff. Had to go to the bar several times to order despite it being table service.

Absolutely outstanding - the venue, food and service were all perfect. Everything was clean, the food came out super fast and was just divine. All the staff were friendly and so efficient. Worth every cent and can’t wait to go back - best Thai food we’ve ever had. If I could, I would give it 10 stars

Great food shame about the bad service. The waiter was not very sure of the menue, confusing orders and not taking my friends nut allergy seriously. Two of our food orders were also missed so people where sat without food while the rest eat. They were very rude when we asked to split the bill and made it take longer than if they had just smiled and done it. I work in hospitality and theses are very simple things to get wrong. Maybe I'll just get takeaway next time.

Sala Thai is iconic, an institution in Fremantle. It is the restaurant you go back to again and again and it never disappoints with spectacular Thai food and flavours. I have not found a better restaurant for Thai cuisine anywhere.

We got takeaway from this place last night - fantastic! Great flavours, so tasty! Rare for takeaway to be this fresh. We chose the green chicken curry, sweet chilli tamarind fish (chef's special), stir fry mixed vegetables, chicken stay sticks, veggie curry puffs and fish cakes. Everything was delicious, the family wolved it down. I ordered at 5: 57pm on a Saturday night and it was ready in 20 minutes - quicker than I expected. I was slow picking it up, so unfortunately the curry puffs had time to sweat and go a bit soggy, but that's on me. Apart from that everything was great. Will be back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary by dining in at this restaurant last night. We were all amazed with their friendly staff, quick service, and great food by presentation n taste. Highly recommended restaurant. Surely we'll come back when we go down to visit Fremantle one day.

Had the beef masaman tender beef but not much flavour, had chicken pad see ew awful greasy and no flavour!

Had a lovely dinner there, we had the stuffed chicken wings for entrée which tasted good, Red Goat Curry and stir fry chicken with cashew nuts, really like the red curry, the goat meat was very tender and tasted great. The meal was served quick and friendly services. Will certainly go back.
