Sage reviews
55I dropped in for morning tea while I was waiting for new tyres to be fitted to my bike. I had the roasted mushrooms and a small, long black coffee. The food was delicious, the coffee was very good and the service was non intrusive and friendly. I would definitely revisit this Cafe. Thank you.
I used to love this cafe. It had delicious interesting food and friendly service. But unfortunately the last 3 times I have been there (during the last year) the food has been really ordinary. Not sure what happened to this place.
Apparently the coffee is good here but I won’t be trying it.i was walking past today with a takeaway coffee and bumped into 3 of my friends sitting alfresco having coffee. So I sat for a few minutes to say hello. As I stood to leave the owner abruptly told me that no outside food or drink is allowed …. As it doesn’t make them look good?
The service I received at south perth McDonald’s was far superior.
We are all local friends trying to support local business.
10 of us were due to go for bottomless brunch …but I think empty seats may make them look better.
She then asked the 3 other ladies to leave!
Very disappointing and humiliating to be treated like that.
I will never try their coffee now.
Went to sage the other day for a nice outing with my girl. Excellent food service and the wait staff were really nice people. Had the smavo with a W. A. M.very delicious all round and very pleased with sage. Definitely coming back
Love this place. Come here most weekends for their awesome big breakfast or a smashed avo. Food is always great, fantastic coffee and friendly staff. Love it.
I have been to Sage quite a few times now over the period I have been in Victoria Park, every experience I’ve had has been in a relaxed atmosphere, warm and pleasant service with great food and coffee to follow.
All of my experiences have been mid week, and they must be doing something well for when I drive past on the weekend they are always full.
Love that I can get a cheeky Aperol sprites with my breakfast
Don’t know if it was just an off day but the service and food were straight up bad. I had the chicken burger and it was very bland. My juice only showed up until after everyone had finished their meals (and only after I had asked for it because we were about to leave).
The brunch was an excellent combination with the delicious Bloody Mary's will be back soon as Sage is now my new favourite in Vic Park.
Came here for a birthday bottomless brunch. Food was good but service was extremely slow due to having only 1 waiter for 22 people. Was definitely understaffed and the managers attitude was disappointing.
An Awesome Breakfast that did not disappoint! My partner and I were drawn in by the irresistible smell of cooked bacon on the wind and found this hidden gem I highly recommend.
Sage is awesome, the best coffee in Western Australia! Decor is lovely, staff are friendly, professional, with brilliant service. Menu is good, vegan and GF options would make it more awesome.
Pretentious and rude
When I ask for a coffee in a takeaway cup its my choice even if I am sitting in, as its my choice if I want to take the cup away with me or not.
What I don`t want is some millennial telling me that they want to save the environment, that`s not your choice, its the customers choice
Lets be honest its more about saving 15 cents on a takeaway cup.
Apart from that, rude staff when you ask for a table to cleaned, that is of course if she gets off the phone to her boyfriend while adjusting the menus for 10 minutes.
This place needs a serious attitude change
We hardly try new places but a good friend recommended we try the Bottomless Brunch here. It did not disappoint. The service was great and the girls were very attentive and always checked to make sure our drinks were topped up. The food was delicious and oh my the croissants were divine melt in your mouth delicious. A very cute little Cafe, warm and very comfy. Definitely will be back again.
Lady serving us just stopped half way through and started serving 2 other rounds of customers before we decided to leave.
It's alright basic cafe at the back of Vic Park Post Office. Staff are polite & reasonably attentive
I've been here on four separate occasions and overall I've loved it. The first, third and fourth loved it, but the second not so much because of the item I picked (mushroom heavy brunch).
Their bathroom is so cute! Nice glassware for iced coffees.
Their pancakes are decadent and so good. The whole food decor and garnishes such as finely grated parmesan make it taste better.
The semolina porridge is sooo good. Coffee is nice too. I was there just after 7am on a weekend and the place was empty which I loved. Service was super friendly too.
Staff were really very friendly and helpful, and coffee was pretty good.have yet to try the food though cos its always full whenever we drop by
Incredibly long wait and incredibly bad communication about it, and acted very childishly when I had the temerity to complain about the communication.
Good service, really needed a cold drink & Sage was the only place open. Thank goodness! Great iced latte. Friendly people. Will come back again
