Saffron Valley Harrisdale reviews
32Newly visiting the Harrisdale area, staying with family, so this was our first ever food order from Saffron Valley. Similar to Maddi Barber’s recent review, Uber Eats driver stuffed up our order – it was simply not delivered to our place, even though the driver reported it was (we confirmed we had given the correct address, and we were even waiting at the front of the Air BnB we were at with the light on, on a well-lit main street – not too sure how any driver could have missed that). However Saffron Valley were nice enough to quickly redo our large order of around $300 worth of food, even though it was right on their closing time. Food was delicious, and majority of it was also gluten free, which was a big plus for our large group which had a few GF eaters. Five stars for Saffron Valley, can’t say the same for the uber eats driver!
I loved the high quality buttter chicken that was served with the salty naan bread. There was too much butter on the butter chicken which made it a bit sticky. The service was nothing but poor from the servers due to their lack of confidence when taking my order which concluded in me getting a garlic naan instead of butter naan so i had to ask for a replacement. And i also saw the server spitting in my food when he was serving the butter naan which i was going to complain about but he threatened me with his malicous devious use of language
We've tried almost every Indian restaurant in the area and they are definitely the best. Consistently good quality every time.
One of the best food i ever had in many times. Great customer service as well. Strongly recommend.
Always amazing food!
Tonight, Menulog let us down and the manager personally delivered for us in stormy weather.
Highly recommend
First time here. We ordered take away and did wait a while for our food but the lady was very busy with 2 parties I believe she was catering for and apologised for the wait. Well the food was delicious. The onion bahjis yum! The butter chicken was succulent and clearly cooked on a skewer in the oven and the lamb doh pyaza was so tender and full of flavour. We will reccomend to friends and be back for more take away i not sure I would dine in but I only live down the road.
We went to Saffron Valley restaurant for the first time, and our experience was really good. We received warm welcome, and after placing our order, we didn't have to wait for long. Food was delicious, we ordered one veg curry and one non veg curry with garlic naans. Naan serve was generous and they were tasty and supersoft! Loved every bit of it. Staff is very friendly and was keen to receive feedback from their customers. Highly recommend
Ordered two different veg curries kofta curry and sahi paneer very disappointed as the gravy was exactly the same for both curries i have had this same item in other restaurants the taste of each item should have been different on other hand gravy was not thick it was very waterish secondly i had requested medium hot but when i got home i had the first spoon in my mouth it was too hot which caused acid. I would not recommend this place for a foodie person especially who really understands real taste & knows the difference. Thirdly he did not have efpos, no receipt it was disgusting i spent 40 aud all down the drains
Today we had a terrible experience with food quality. Naan was not soft, hard to break and doesn't look fresh. The curry was very watery and not as good taste as before.
Best Kadhai paneer in town! Hands down
Friendly customer service too
Highly recommended
Taste like India, flavour like India, burns the mouth like India and overall the best take away Indian south of the river…
Ordered a chicken biryani took one bite when delivered via menulog the chicken was uncooked. Take my money and serve uncooked meat, out of order!
Taste and quality of the food has dropped. Biriyani was with no flavour or barely with a taste and paneer is uncooked with the dishes probably felt like a rush in cooking! Probably this is because of the number of orders. We saw there were more orders at the time we went for our orders. No dine in option was available and we had to do a take away only. Over a period of time we see the taste and quality of food has dropped. Pls get back to history and maintain the same standards before losing customers.
Have been going here for over an year, always consistently excellent food and amazing service. My fav Indian comfort food
Always enjoyed the curries from here and never let down. My go to is always butter chicken and fish goan curry paired with Garlic Naan. Curry taste even better when left overnight
One of the best Panjabi food on the south side of Perth. Quick service and authentic test. Anything from tandoor is amazing.
We are regulars always ordering the butter chicken, lamb korma and other bits. Always very happy with our meal and takeaway service! Ordering direct is definitely the way to go
We had dinner at Saffron Valley and ordered paneer butter masala, malai kofta, dal makhani, butter garlic and chilli naan. Food is delicious and it has the authentic Indian taste. It's a lovely place, you'll love it.
