Royal Takka West Swan Road.
We ordered Bombay prawns, lamb madras, white rice & naan bread. The meat was so tender and tasty. The prawns were really good. We ordered goat biriyani and rogan josh to take away and after reheating the next day they were still excellent. The staff were very polite and caring, the meals were very well priced unlike some in the area and the view of the lake and wildlife as you dined was nice to see. Definitely will go there again.

Celebrated my mother’s 80th Birthday with my family here, food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and with a smile. We had the private area, just one minor issue was that spare restaurant chairs were stored (stacked up) close to the tables we were sitting at so was a little unsafe as we had a 3yr old, other than that our night was throughly enjoyed:)

Delicious food and reasonably priced for the area. The mango lassi was addictive thank you and we will be back.

Paneer Kadhai at Royal Tadka is a delightful blend of paneer cubes cooked in a rich and aromatic mix of spices, bell peppers, and tomatoes. The robust flavors and tender texture make it a standout dish.

Also tried Hara Bhara Kebab entre here is a visually appealing and tasty vegetarian option, combining spinach, peas, and potatoes. The crispy exterior and well-balanced spices make it a satisfying appetizer.

The combination of tap beer kingfisher was amazing and the flavorful Indian cuisine at Royal Tadka makes for a delightful meal.

Only thing today disappointing was air con was not working and it was a hot day so we had to take away our food. Other then that can't complain.

Poor Service. Overpriced menu. Nothing compares to the Ellenbrook restaurant. Staff serving while using Chewing Gum.

Best Indian food we have had in a while. Amazing ambience, great customer service and fantastic staff. Would highly recommend them!

Overall, my experience at Royal tadka was exceptional. The food was delicious specially Smosa chaat and dahi puri was very delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Great flavours in the curries but unfortunately the prawns in all 3 dishes were very over cooked like rubber, also the onion bhajis were a let down, just deep fried crispy batter. Kashmiri naan was also average. Would like to say ill be back but I know of much better Indian cuisine in Perth.

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful staff and the best Indian cuisine I have ever had in Australia. The food is absolutely incredible!

I don’t often complain or leave negative reviews (I just don’t go back) but after spending and binning $100 worth of food I wanted to share my thoughts on the Royal Tarka Indian restaurant on west swan road (next to Yahava). So I hopefully save someone’s time, money & tummy.

WORST INDIAN FOOD I have ever had in my life (I have eat lots) I love Indian food it’s my favourite cuisine. It was all really bland with absolutely no flavour at all.

Last night we ordered the following takeaway

Onion Bhaji — they were bland, soggy and just disgusting, I make better ones myself.tandoori garlic prawns - the most overcooked dried chewy things I have ever eaten.they were like rubber.

Chicken Sagg - just tasted like blended spinach and was awful (sagg is my fav so I know what it should taste like)

Lamb Rohan Josh - was ok, meat was tender and had slight flavour, it the only thing that was actually edible.

Garlic nan - again ok a bit chewy

Saffron rice - as you would expect

I have tried so many restaurants in Perth, but I went in royal tarka indian restaurant they have best indian food and waiting staff is also so polite.

I visited the place last night after recommendation of a friend. Had amazing experience. Dahi puri was delicious. Curry had balanced spices and naan were soft.
Service was impeccable. One of the best services I received in any Indian restaurant, as in most of the ones I had visited, I have never seen a smile on staff’s face. But in here staff was so welcoming.
Will be back definitely.

Terrible experience…. We ask for spicy food and they serve with sweet chilli sauce…spice lover please don’t visit…TWO TIMES I HAD SAME EXPERIENCE

Outstanding and high quality food is served here.customer service is also good. I have never seen been disappointed by any of their dishes but in particular the goat vindaloo and crispy naan with butter.

The food was excellent, we had a mix up with our booking, but the staff were great and did some rearranging and got us seated.
Will definitely return.
