We went there for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with such humble staff and excellent service.

Food: we were served papadums and chutney on the house as a yummy entree.
We ordered paneer tikka, which was very fresh and perfectly spiced. Not chilli hot yet delicious flavour.
Then we ordered garlic naan which was huge and palak paneer as a vegan option. Flavours were on point and yet not too spicy.

Service: very polite and soft spoken

Location and parking: very safe neighbourhood and close to the city. There's plenty of free street parking available after 6pm.

Overall: well priced and delicious food.

Ordered butter chicken, garlic naan, and lamb madras. Butter chicken tasted overly sweet, not buttery enough, and was rather bland. Garlic naan was crispy and not very "garlicy", lamb madras slightly spicy and delicious. Portion was good.

It's not a bad meal, but it's not in the same league as Chatterboxx or Kauphy Place. I had Lamb Rogan Josh, which was okay, but not particularly hot (temperature) and unfortunately lacked depth of flavor. Nice table service.

This long-established restaurant truly stands out in its commitment to accommodating customers' dietary needs. Unlike most places that either refuse or promise but don't deliver, this restaurant pleasantly surprised me by going the extra mile. They were willing to cook from scratch for one person, showcasing their dedication to meeting each customer's unique requirements.

This level of service reflects the restaurant's attitude since its inception and its enduring history. It's clear that they have made it their mission to create a dining experience that caters to everyone, and this commitment has only grown stronger over time.

I left this restaurant with a sense of satisfaction and appreciation for their genuine efforts. I will definitely make it a point to visit again when I'm back in town. It's a place that understands the importance of customer care and culinary excellence, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

The food was delicious! Very cozy atmosphere. Staffs were very friendly and listened to your requests. Great Indian restaurant at West Perth area! We enjoyed the Thali as always!

Food not so authentic or great tasting for an Indian palate. But the atmosphere was great and the staff were awesome with the service.

Went using a Groupon voucher. We went on a weekday, so it wasn't as busy. The staff were attentive to our needs through the night. The food was cooked well and served soon after it was ready as it was still nice and hot. Desserts were a particular highlight. Indian sweets often have a reputation for being overly sweet, however those served to us were not too sweet and tasted very nice.

Best Indian food in Australia. The taste and options are superb… Rasmalai in desserts was sumptuously delicious

Poor food quality, the starters were reheated and tasted stale, the chicken soup was just watered down chicken curry, had high expectations from this place, given its great location and decor.

Food and service is always first class. We occasionally dine in but visit every weekend and mostly get takeaway. Lynda, Pali and the team are most welcoming and we enjoy coming here.

I had a quick late dinner with a salty lassy, large lamb biriyani, raita and included popadums. The salty lassy was the best I can remember. The large lamb biriyani was too much for one person but extremely colourful with lots of identifiable spices and nuts and flavour. The raita which was recommended with the biriyani was excellent. I will return. Thankyou.

Some years ago, when I dined in, a waiter spilled half a bottle of my BYO Cab Merlot all over my guest. It was an accident, I forgave the waiter immediately - but my jaw dropped when they charged me corkage!

Fast forward to tonight. I had finally gotten over the above incident and decide to order 1 beef vindaloo, a chicken korma and pulau rice for delivery. What arrived made my jaw drop again.

Tiniest containers I have ever seen Indian food come in. They were so ridiculously small I just started laughing. It felt like a practical joke. Then I laughed harder when I saw they were each only 2/3 full.

It was literally about 100g of curry in each container at a cost of $24 each. It was about 4 dessert spoonfuls' worth of each curry (we are talking standard, ordinary dishes here). This is not a Michelin restaurant.

I wasn't laughing when I started eating.

The tiny amount of beef in the tiny vindaloo (there were 6 tiny cubes that fit in 2 dessert spoons) was dry and cardboard-like.

The Pulau had no sultanas contrary to what is advertised - just shrivelled peas and horribly crunchy raw carrot in ordinary yellow (turmeric?) rice. Suffice it to say it was very unpleasant to eat and I was left hungry after forking out $60.

In short, this is the worst value Indian food I have ever ordered anywhere in the world hands down. In fact I think it is the worst value of any food I have ever ordered anywhere.

$60 for a few mouthfuls of mediocre takeaway curry from a suburban Indian restaurant is such a rip off it was offensive. By the end of the meal, it wasn't funny anymore. I felt scammed.

Maybe it's nicer when you dine in (you get the benefit of a lovely atmosphere inside when you aren't covered in wine.) But selling takeaway like this is thievery.

One star for ripping me off.

Favourite Indian in Perth!
My husband and I used to live in West Perth so used to go very frequently. We moved about 30 minutes drive away but still try to come every fortnight to month for a delicious meal. Staff are all so welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is great.
