Rostrum Public Speaking Club 19

I joined Rostrum Club 19 with the intention on improving my public speaking and presentation skills. It certainly has done that, although still reasonably new to the club I have found the skills and experience learned have helped me professionally when delivering presentations and speeches. I feel grateful to be part of this group and witness some truly amazing, moving, entertaining and thought provoking speeches.
Rostrum Club 19 is helping me become a more confident and competent speaker, while having some fun along the way with some lovely people.

I have been a member of Rostrum Club 19 for nearly 4 years. I find the experience immeasurably worthwhile, reinforcing my confidence in front of an audience, and refining my presentation style to get my message across effectively.

Impromptu exercises teach me to think on my feet, prepared presentations help make my real-life presentations memorable, and being involved on committee helps me understand how to run an (albeit small) organisation effectively.

Would wholeheartedly recommend checking it out, and joining in.

I have been a member of Rostrum Public Speaking Club 19 for several years now, and I believe it’s meeting format and club style membership provides participants with unique and lasting benefits.

Early on in a business career progression is achieved through technical skill but very soon managers come to learn that further advancement only comes through the ability to lead people which requires communication skills that are not innate in all of us. Rostrum provides detailed and lasting skills in how to get your message across in a meaningful and inspiring way.

Secondly the confidential and caring Rostrum environment allows participants to experiment and learn from constructive review which brings one of the greatest gifts anyone can give; that of self-awareness and self-confidence. It is in this area that I have seen myself some of the most inspiring transformations in people who have attended.

I am convinced that members are more engaged and more confident employees following their participation in Rostrum. I believe the benefits are also long lasting and provide a value for money far in excess of many external one-off training programmes. Based on that I have no hesitation in recommending Rostrum to others.
